This is a great place when you need assisted living. We moved my uncle here, and he really loves it. He has dementia and needed to move into assisted living, and I feel like this is the prefect place for him. Lori, in the sales department, is an absolute joy! She is so friendly, answered all of our questions and seems genuine in her care for the residents here. All of the staff we have interacted with seem to be caring and concerned for my uncle. He lives in a one bedroom, which has a huge bathroom, and has a comfortable feeling to it. And when the day comes that he needs memory care, he can move to the memory care unit. The place is beautiful inside and there's plenty of daily activities to enjoy. I highly recommend The Ranch Estates of Tucson. I feel good every time I leave knowing that my uncle is in good hands!

The Ranch Estates of Tucson was a great facility. It was very clean. The person who took me on the tour was very knowledgeable. She introduced me to quite a few staff. She introduced me to the nurse who was in charge of the memory care unit. She was very nice. I got to see that particular unit and see how it's set up and everything. It was excellent. I had lunch with the lady who took me on the tour. The only drawback that I have about that facility is its way up north. It took me probably half an hour or more to get there. I wanted something kind of central to where we already live. The food was very good. She allowed me to choose from the menu that they had for that particular day at lunchtime. The cleanliness was great. Each area that I visited was very clean. They have a courtyard, which amazed me that residents will be allowed to go outside and sit up on the trees and that kind of thing.

The Ranch Estates of Tucson only had one-bedrooms and the one bedroom they showed me, which was the largest bedroom, wasn't going to be big enough because there were two of us, and the closets and everything else was just too little. The reason why I wanted that place, if it worked out, is because it's near everything. It's a very nice place. I asked to go to the apartment first. I said "If it doesn't work out, I don't want to take your time" and it didn't work out. We had seen the downstairs. We had talked to a couple of the people there, and it seemed like a very nice place. I only met two staff members and they were very, very good, very nice, and very friendly. The room size would've been fine if I had been alone, but it wasn't going to work for two people. Everything looked very nice.

We toured The Ranch Estates of Tucson, the place is beautiful. They were running a special where they had a 1-bedroom apartment at the rate of a studio apartment, which was a significant saving, and for that impressed. The salesperson was very nice. The facility was brand-new, it sounded like they were still setting up some services, but it was gorgeous. The salesperson was very nice, she was young. The facility itself was spotless.

My mom is here and it was beautiful. They did a wonderful job designing it. Everybody was very friendly, and they answered all my questions. It was just a great experience overall visiting them and them explaining how their facility works. Her room is very nice. It's a 1-bedroom studio. It's very roomy. The bathroom is huge, and the kitchen is a perfect size. The facility is quite large too, and it's clean. I have not eaten there, but mom says the food is delicious.

I visited The Ranch Estates of Tucson twice. They have assisted living and memory care, and we discussed both. It was very nice; otherwise, I wouldn't be taking my dad there. They have a wall for veterans; it's very nicely decorated with photos of the service person when they were serving, along with a current photo. That would be very important to my father because he is very proud of his service during World War II and the Korean War. The staff was excellent; her name is Myra, and she is very personable. We saw the rooms, and they seemed to be spacious. The bathroom had an especially nice feature in the shower where the water would cut in the drain across the front of the shower so there was no spillage. It was very interesting. We checked the menu, and we've been invited back for lunch with my father. The menu seemed very flexible. He could get a breakfast meal any time of the day, and that's one of his favorite meals, so I think that will appeal to him. There was a lot of food available. If he goes hungry, it's his own choice -- not because they didn't offer it. One of the features I like the best was their open outside area. It is spacious, and yet they created little pockets of seating that can give you the feeling of privacy, which was pleasant. It was all safely enclosed, too, so there's no chance of my father wandering off or that kind of thing. It included an area with tables and a grill so we could go there and have a family picnic. Part of what we were planning to do when we visited with my father was to see the activities. Those kinds of things are important to me -- that he observes and sees what might be available for him. I was given an activity calendar for the month so I'm aware of what the activities are. One of the activities that Myra mentioned is that they periodically have a car show in their parking lot with old cars, and my father restored an antique car so that kind of thing would be very appealing to him. Myra was very enthusiastic, she knows her product well, she has been there since the inception of the development, and she helped build the place. The staff there has not changed in that entire time. They like working there, and that makes a big difference in terms of how everyday staff is treated and appreciated. They've decorated the outside with desert plants, which is very sensible in Tucson, and they've done it quite attractively, too.

My father was a resident in the assisted living. He had a large studio room with a kitchenette. He used a scooter and a wheel chair and there was plenty of space for him to move around. The staff is fabulous. They checked on him often, encouraged him to participate in activities, came to get him when he did not show up for things. The level of care and concern was excellent. The only reason we left was that we needed to move him closer to family. I wish I could have moved the entire facility. We will miss Chris the Executive Director and his fabulous staff.

My parents had a one bedroom apartment in Assisted Living. The room was spacious and homey. The bathroom was huge and had all the safety features it needed. The staff is amazing and very interactive with the residents. My Mom loves the activities and gives me the daily rundown of the calendar. She loves Scrabble, Word a thon, Bingo, puzzles and any game they offer. She also takes the mystery rides that get the residents out into the community to see different sites. The dining room is a great place for residents to interact and make new friends. My Dad moved to Memory Care when his Alzheimer's got into the later stages and the staff provided my family the support we needed through his hospice care. I cannot say enough about the wonderful staff and the resort like environment that parents have thoroughly enjoyed.

Residents are truly treated like residents and not just patients. They provide a great home environment while still providing quality care when needed. Lots of in home events and dining specials and activities. They are extremely proactive when it comes to safety and health of residents.

It is good. It's a brand-new facility so the rooms are very nice. My parents are just moving in. They have a salon, heated massage bed, and a movie theater.
