Heritage Legacy had 2 floors and 20 apartments on each floor. There, the food was really the best that I had ever had anywhere. Another plus for this community was that it was in a location that was very convenient. They had a grocery store right across the street. Also, the bank was nearby. The only complaint I had for the Legacy was that they didn't have enough care. When I was there, I didn't need that much care, but a lot of people there needed much more help. A lot of them were in wheelchairs. People there needed more help and they weren't getting it. Also, the studios there were much smaller. They had a lot of people in one-bedrooms and two-bedrooms too. However, activities were the same as with the other facility.

The Heritage Legacy was very well organized. The residents seemed happy there. I think the people that need assistance were being cared for. It's very positive from that standpoint. The staff members were very good at explaining the options. When I was there, they were doing a lot of multitasking. They really made sure that everybody was being attended to. They're very good. They were doing touch-up work around the place.
