We left The Fountains at Lake Pleasant. It was pretty good. Some things were excellent. Transportation was wonderful. Food was, some days, OK. Housekeeping was wonderful. I would have to give them very high marks for that. Some things were great, but some things were not quite as great. Overall, it was good. Their activities were not all that great there. They had a beautiful beauty shop there equipped beautifully, but they never opened it up at the time. We had lived there for quite some time because they couldn't find an operator to come in and operate the beauty salon. However, we had a beautiful dining room, and the food was pretty good most of the time. It was a pretty nice place, but there were some things that could have been improved upon. Overall, it was not too bad.

The Fountains at Lake Pleasant was not as welcoming as the others. The staff and I talked for a bit. I still had questions and when we came back from seeing an apartment, she said, "Well, thank you and let us know what you think." They weren't really interested. The apartment was beautiful, but I wasn't as impressed. It wasn't as warm and accepting like the other places. The facility itself and the apartment were clean. It would've been nice if they offered me lunch, so I could taste the food that they have, and if the lady just spent a little more time with me because she seemed busy. It's beautiful on the outside.

We love The Fountains at Lake Pleasant. The person who accommodated me was lovely. We like her. She was very personable and very friendly. She showed us what we were looking for and answered all our questions. The rooms were good. The dining area's ambience was nice, very roomy and elegant. The food was good, too.

We toured The Fountains at Lake Pleasant. It was very nice, they have a lovely dining room, and a pool area with a spa. I liked it very much. Depending upon where your apartment is, you can to walk outside to go to the main building, and that was hard for me. It would be very difficult in the summer because it would be very hot to walk to the main building outside.

I visited The Fountains at Lake Pleasant. They were remodeling with new floors and carpets, so it will be so nice. I didnt like having to walk outside to go into the dining room. The rooms were very nice, and once the remodeling finishes, they'll be like new. The person who showed me around was a very nice lady who was really trying to help me. The dining room looked nice, but the grounds outside weren't especially attractive to me.

I'm living in The Fountains at Lake Pleasant. I like the size of the 2-bedroom apartment. It's a pretty good size and is just a little over 1,100 square feet. I also like the leasing staff. I think it's a pretty good deal because its less expensive. It's about $2,200 a month which includes all the utilities. It's a nice and quiet place, and the food is good and filling. The pool looks very inviting, and I can see it from my front balcony. The people are nice. They clean my apartment once a week, and they wash my sheets and towels. That really impresses me.

The Fountains at Lake Pleasant was wonderful. It is on my list of where I will probably go, but I have to sell my house first. The units were large. I could get a two-bedroom unit for less than what some of the places were asking for a 1-bedroom unit. It had all been renovated, so it's lovely. They haven't finished their renovation of the outside, the gardens and things like that, but the inside is beautifully done. The people there are very friendly and it's a much more self-sufficient group and younger group which is what I liked about it. They have a pool, recreation areas, meeting rooms, games that people can play, and there's no set time that you go to dinner. The place where you eat is open all day. I only had a hamburger the day I was there with the lady that showed me around. I haven't been there for a meal, but I have been invited; I will soon.

We toured The Fountains and liked it, but there were some things we didn't like. They didn't have continuous care. We had a very good meal. They had two meals, and you can buy lunch if you want. It was a very nice facility; they did a nice job redoing it, but there were a lot of extra charges.

I recently visited The Fountains at Lake Pleasant and found the facility and the staff to be very welcoming. The club house/dining is recently remodeled. Chef Leon is a pleasure and his food is delicious. The apartment complex and landscaping appear to be well maintained. Overall this appears to be a comfortable place to live with a nice sense of community.

I didn’t like that the apartment at the Fountains at Lake Pleasant wasn’t attached to the main area, --like the club house type of thing. That is what my mom has now, and she wouldn’t take the time to walk from her place to the dining area and the activity area. It was separate, so it was just like having an apartment with a club house that she would have to go to get food and for activities, and if it is raining outside, there is no way she could do that. The apartment that they showed us was quite far from the main area, but it was nice. The staff was very nice. She was very cordial and explained everything. They had a library, but it was upstairs, and I know they had an elevator. They were playing Bingo ,and I don’t remember them saying having any other activities. It seemed to be more for someone who would be able to live on their own, but didn’t want to make dinner or to have a little more social activity. I think because the apartments are detached, it is just a different kind of living.

The Fountains was really nice. It had single apartments that were not attached. You can choose to join in the activities or not. They had a pool, library, chapel, and salon.

I got a very good impression from The Fountains; we are going to move my brother in two weeks. The staff was very good and knowledgeable. The whole place was remodeled and very nice. The rooms were very nice, completely remodeled, and a bit larger than some other places we looked at. They had a pool and bus trips.

My visit at The Fountains at Lake Pleasant was very nice. The place had just been refurbished, so everything is brand new. They don’t have the casitas, but they have apartments. Their price is lower compared to where I am right now. Everything looked lovely. The grounds were very well kept and very nice with big trees and green grass. It's a small community with only 87 apartments.

The Fountains at Lake Pleasant is where I'd like to go. I like the whole area. The staff was very nice and very pleasant to be with. It had a pool and an exercise room. I looked at the apartment, and it was perfect. The dining room looked good.

My mom likes The Fountains. It was in progress, and they were completely remodeling everything, but I think she really liked it because it felt more like an apartment rather than a hotel. We could only see a part of what was being trying to be remodeled.

We visited this facility and put down a deposit. Susan, the manager, and Pat, made time last minute to do a tour for my mother and me. We loved it. It's a small community that has been recently remodeled. Sounds like it is under new management. Prices are competitive and the services and amenities included are awesome! My mother is only 58 and is looking forward to moving to a community where she can stay active, social, and make friends. We also wanted to find a place she could stay at for years to come. The alacarte menu of extra services means mom can stay here until she's seriously incapabale of caring for herself at all. Mom is planning on moving in late October / early November. If my opinion should change I will update my review.
