My wife moved in at Broadway Mesa Village about a week ago. They are all very caring. They make sure that not only my wife, but everybody is taken care of. They are very helpful with everything. They are very friendly and knowledgeable about everything we need. They are very receptive to answering my questions immediately. The staff is just absolutely great. They have a game room, an exercise room, a theater room, and several different courtyards to go out in. Their food is just awesome. They do a great job with food. The whole facility is very nice, very well taken care of, and very well maintained. On the memory side, I know they're doing activities from the time they get done with breakfast until lunch, and then they have more after lunch. They have a common area that they all go to after dinner.

My brother in law was in this facility for two years and the staff took great care of his special needs. He couldn't talk, write or read but they took every opportunity to figure out his needs. He was really loved there

Broadway Mesa Village was very good. My mother really liked the people and the place. The people were nice to her, and they would be willing to do more services if she needed them. She was in assisted living, but she did her own medications, her own dressing and undressing, and they occasionally helped her to the dining area. She enjoyed the activities. The food was adequate, it wasn't delicious, but my mom liked it. Her room was very nice, large enough to not feel crowded at all, and there'd be enough space for everybody to sit down. The clients were friendly, talking to each other and relating and that remained true throughout. She was able to make friends with the people while she was there.

I visited Brookdale Broadway. I thought they seemed very busy and very rushed, and it was not what I was looking for. We talked with the marketing person, they showed us around, and when we came in the staff at the front desk was very nice and accommodating, but the marketing people were very rushed and overwhelmed with the things going on. The dining room seemed full. I wasnt impressed, and overall, I thought they needed updating to look nicer. They seemed cold and institutional to me. It was not warm, so I didn't want to stay in it.

Best memory care in East Valley. Clean, new facility. Creative, energetic staff. Residents were engaged in activities and smiling and waving. Easy move from other Brookdale assisted living. Comfortable rooms, reasonable cost.

Brookdale Broadway Mesa had apartment style living. They looked good, but the rooms were a little too small. The people were really nice.

The visit at Brookdale Broadway Mesa was very well-handled. They did a very nice tour, but the rooms were too small. It had a very pleasant environment, but I wasn't impressed with the rooms because there certainly wasn't enough storage space in them. The center of the building is rectangular and centered on a courtyard, which could have been better because it wasn't very appealing. The person who assisted us during the tour was outstanding and very good. The activity director was working with a group of people, which was a very positive experience. The dining area was fine.

Brookdale sat us down and explained the whole program. and then they took us to different rooms that she could be going into. They introduced us to every person that worked there that was available. The people that worked were very kind and considerate, and they care about the patients;even the janitors seemed really nice and upbeat. It was very clean, and the patients all looked very clean to me too and personable. We talked to some of the patients, and they love the place. Overall, we loved it too. One 93-year-old woman tried to flirt with my fiancé. No matter who you talked to, they were very kind. They were playing games when we were there.

Brookdale was very nice. The staff was very good and responded to our questions. The room had two bedrooms, two bathrooms, and included a roommate, and was on the first floor with the dining room a few steps away, so it was very convenient. I have witnessed dinners, and we’re happy with the quality of the food.

Brookdale Broadway Mesa is absolutely fantastic. It is highly recommended out of the ones that I've seen. The rooms were the nicest I’ve seen. They were fantastic, well lit, and have balconies overlooking the whole valley. We had lunch there, and it was very nice. All in all, the facility was very nice. It was so clean and spotless.

I visited Brookdale Broadway Mesa, and their staff is very friendly. It seemed like to me the room itself is good enough for my brother. Their dining room is very nice.

Brookdale Broadway Mesa (Emeritus at Broadway) looked like a wonderful place. The people were very genuine, but unfortunately, my husband could not afford it. I liked the private rooms, the choice in the menu, and the transportation. They could go down to the dining room numerous times a day. The staff was absolutely wonderful, and it was very clean.

We visited Brookdale Broadway Mesa. We didn't eat there or anything. We just walked in and looked at the rooms, and the rooms were very nice and clean. It was just like a fancy hotel. The staff was very friendly. The dining room was really nice and fancy. They had like a garden area where you could walk outside, and it was really nice. It just wasn’t a good fit for my parents.

I would compare Brookdale Broadway to the one on Baywood. The rooms were nice, and the dining room was great. It is a good facility but just way too big. The residents were playing cards, watching movies, and others were playing some bean bag. The apartments were very nice, and the place was safe and secured enough.

Emeritus at Broadway was wonderful. I appreciated this facility overall and the rooms were spacious enough for my mom. The only drawback that I saw was there really was not a kitchenette. There is a little refrigerator and a sink, and I think they bring in a microwave. Granted, you can't cook in there, but it looked like a kitchen that was built thirty years ago and never updated. I just felt that the kitchen should look a lot better than it did. The one they had available looked better because a doctor had rented the apartment and added something to it to make it look better. That was the only drawback. I just felt like the kitchen area should have had a higher quality finish for what she has to pay every month to live there. I think it was a wonderful facility with wonderful people. The apartment was great; it had a really spacious bedroom. The staff was wonderful and I have no complaints about them at all. It is very close to the hospital, actually -- it's only five minutes away, so it is a great location. It is also five minutes away from the interstate. They've got a pretty wide variety of things to do and they do have a pretty busy calendar of activities. You could tell that they really care about the people who live there.

I moved my mother to Emeritus at Broadway. The big reason why we chose this one was because I like the living space. I also like the fact that the dining room was open 7 am to 7 pm and you can order whatever you want. It is a nice, clean place. I'm very happy with it. My experience with them has been good. The rooms are nice. I think it is laid out well. The food is good. They do daily activities with all of the residents. They have trivia, they do bus trips, they play cards, and they have a casino night.

It was a nice visit. Merrill Gardens just didn't have the amenities. The carpeting was very low quality, and they were smaller rooms. More like a hotel room is what it is.

The place is clean, and the food is good, but the staff is terrible! The tour was wonderful with Kelly, but after moving my father in, it has been nothing but headaches for two months! The billing was messed up, the meds were allowed to run out 3 times, and they are a complete mess! The staff was very unhelpful about these problems, and were very rude! I have not had my calls returned, and they have not told the truth on several occasions. They simply want to pass the buck and blame someone else for their mistakes! The main office in Seattle were actually very polite and helpful, but this place is terrible!

I notice many of the reviews on here, are from people who just toured the facility, or it was written when the facility was still Merrill Gardens. The first impression of this place was wonderful! Kelly, who took us on the tour and ate with us, was very nice and kind. We moved my father in, and it has been a nightmare. I have been dealing with problems on a weekly basis for the last two months! There was a billing problem of $4,000, and it took over a month to get resolved! I had to call the main office in Seattle, who I will say, were very helpful. The billing woman at the local place was very rude and unhelpful! The meds have been a complete mess since day one. I thought it was the VA office's fault, but that is not the case. There is no RN here, only an LPN, and the pills were let to run out 3 times! The staff has not returned calls, and they have not told the truth about several things! That being said, the food is good, and the place is clean, but so not worth the headaches! I never had these problems with the last place that he lived for four years. I would not recommend this place to anyone, It is all smoke and mirrors!

Emeritus at Broadway is a nice facility. The rooms were nice, and the people we talked to were nice also. They covered everything that we were interested in. When we went there, I saw a group that I think was going on an outing. Their dining room is very nice, but I was not able to eat there.

I was very impressed with Emeritus. The rooms were very nice. The staff was very nice and very helpful. One lady guided us through the facility. We had lunch there, and the food was very good. It was like a cafeteria; they had a menu, and we got some stuff off of it. They had a library. They had a video rental place. It was near a major hospital, which I thought was nice.

I like Emeritus at Broadway very much. Their atmosphere is very comfortable. The staff were very nice and attentive. They were very willing to answer all my questions. Their rooms were the best I have seen as far as their one bedroom apartment. I also like the way it was laid out. Their dining room was very nice and they also offer very nice menu. I saw their food and it looked fine.

Emeritus was very nice with nice people. I’ve looked at one-bedrooms and they’re very accessible to the dining room and the activities. Their activities are similar with the others, they go out on little tours and they take you to the grocery stores and church. They have busses that they take people on trips and things. I just think that it’s a good deal for older people.

I have a patient that stays in this facility. He came to me trying to call his driver (damion). I called the number that is on the card that states call for pick up. No one was there to answer. After three calls I decided to go online to look for the number. I found a number online but it was disconnected. This man is in his 80s and should not have to figure out how to get a hold of his driver to return to his home. This was Unacceptable

We like Merrill Gardens at Mesa lot. It's a very nice facility. Everything is fine. The staff is very friendly and very accommodating. The only thing that my mom complained about was the food. It's inconsistent. Sometimes it's really good but sometimes it's not good at all.

Compared to some of the other facilities I have been in, this home is fairly good. The staff seems about on par with most facilities, and the facility is nicely decorated. There is a game room where the residents often play board games, pool and Nintendo Wii. They have a restaurant that provides breakfast, lunch and dinner with a small menu selection for each meal. Front desk people seem about average compared with other facilities. The best thing about this facility is the cleanliness. The rooms are cleaned multiple times a week and the place has no lingering odor. They appear to staff at least 1 RN on staff at all times, which I think is a requirement. I would recommend this place to anyone, though, it is not the best facility it is far from the worst.

My wife has been a resident in the Garden House at Merrill Gardens at Mesa for six weeks now. I have spent a lot of time with her there. The place is first class in all respects & the people are just great. What more can I say? I reccomend it.

This facility has one- and two-bedroom apartments and studios with kitchenettes. They have a library and a theater room. The building is two stories. They have 95 residents. They provide their own transportation for the residents. They have their cook in their dining room, and they serve three meals per day. They also do the made-to-order food. They have soups. They have an activities director, and they do arts and crafts. They have a hairdresser with a salon. The place is beautiful. The staff is really nice. I like everything about the place.

My mother and I toured Merrill Gardens because at the time we were touring quite a few facilities as my mother was beginning to get concerned about her health and ability to do everything on her own. She'd suffered a stroke and wanted to just ""have a look around"". We spent months touring multiple facilities. A co-worker of mine told me about Merrill Gardens because her father lived there. It was a Thursday morning when we arrived and were instantly blown away by the entrance area to schedule an appointment to tour the apartments. I'm not sure if I can mention names, so let's just call her Anne, the front desk receptionist and office gal. What a friendly person! Reminded me of one of those people you meet and feel like you've known forever. This facility does offer more than simply assisted living, but because we were there for that aspect only, that is the area's I paid the most attention to. Darling apartments! Bushes outside every window and benches. Very clean and kept up. My mother had a choice of three soon-to-be available places and she loved one of the corner one's. Outside her window was a cast iron table with four chairs. She's still as active as she can possibly be so she liked the idea of having her own area. Another thing we both really liked was the fact that their dining room was always open. There are no ""set in stone"" mealtimes. Whenever you're hungry, just as if you were at your own house, you get something to eat. Merrill Gardens offers this same thing. You can eat on your schedule and not have to worry about missing a mealtime. My mom liked the fact that she was still independent yet if she needed help with anything, from laundry to bathing to medicine, she could receive it. She's a strong woman, a retired nurse and knows a lot about her conditions. In the event she'd need a procedure done and myself or one of my sisters could not be there, she liked how the staff at Merrill Gardens would be.
