You buy and own your own home here at Leisure World-Mesa, AZ. There are a few condominiums here, but the majority are homes. They have seasonal rentals where some people have bought homes to specifically rent and they have a real estate company right on site (Remax) that you don't have to use, but they are on site, which for the most part keeps tabs on the people who are selling and then they're open to buyers coming in and see the homes. The facilities are excellent. We have three swimming pools, a pickleball court, a tennis court, three golf courses, and clubhouses where people meet for card games. One of them is specifically for the golf club, but you can also go there to play cards and games. Then they have a place where you can do pottery, one for jewelry, carpentry, sewing, and computers. We have a little theater and bowling. We have a basketball court, shuffleboard court and we have a beautiful promenade where on Thursdays, a band usually comes in or a DJ to play music. We have water, soft drinks, and ice available that you bring. It's BYOB. If you want to bring your own snacks, you can, and that's free. The big thing is, if you come into the community, you buy-in the price. It used to be $2,000, but now they're debating on raising the price of the entry. When Remax sells a home, a portion of the sales goes back to the Leisure World so we can put it towards the upkeep of the facilities, which they do. We have a huge maintenance crew and landscaping crew, while you are responsible for the landscaping of your own home. They take care of the grounds that the public uses. They have ballroom dance nights, regular dance nights, concerts, our own choral group, and a combination of musical instruments for people that they put on little concerts and stuff. We have a cafe, which is sort of like a nonprofit. We have people from Coda who are employed there, so they learn skills and most of the food is freshly made right there at the cafe. It's not big and they don't serve liquor and it's only open from morning till about 2:00. Of course you can own whatever size homes you decide because we have mansions all right off the golf course, then we have two and three bedroom homes, and I think there are a few four bedroom homes. No high rise. It's a gated community. You have to go through security when you come in and out. If you were expecting company, you called the gate so they know and they can let them in. That's 24/7. So, that's always there and we have security on-site, but if it's an emergency, of course, you call 911 and when you call 911, then they decide how they handle the case. It's a mixed community. I believe it's 55 and over and children can come, but they only can come as visitors. You can go to the cafe for the meals or you can make your own meals in your own home. They have a nice menu that has eggs, waffles, and the standard breakfast food. They even have fresh fruit. Then in the afternoon, they have soup, salad, and a sandwich. They have different days that they call, like today's fish fry. Like they have the standard breakfast and lunch, and then tonight will be the fish fry. They also have a recreation department where they have trips that you can sign up for. Like recently, I think the last trip they had was they went to Niagara Falls and Ford, Michigan and Greenfield Village in Michigan, and Ford Museum, but that's individual. It's what you decide to do.

My relative is in Leisure World. It's a very good community. They have medical coverage there and security. They pretty much have everything. They have two golf courses, two rec rooms, a physician and a nursing staff, and all of their yard work is taken care of with utilities as well. They have high security. They have manpower security there. They have a restaurant within the senior community. This is actually a single dwelling. She owns her home. We're not talking about having home health aides in there and things like that. They cook on their own. They're actually independent living. They offer basketball, tennis, and the whole nine yards. They have a full-on gym with high-end exercise equipment, pool tables, and lapidary, which is jewelry making crafts.
