this is more like assisted dieting than anything else. They prefer immobile meat sacks over semi independent people and are understaffed . 2 care givers for 8 residents , this is a For Profit facility that doesn't provide very good care.

We visited the Casa Grande Assisted Living Home while searching for a place for our aunt to live in the Lake Havasu City area. The area outside was very nicely maintained. The grounds offered easy access for residents, where they can enjoy walking around freely safely each day. We could also see that there is also plenty of space to have parties and picnics. Residents can also tend the garden. The foyer was fresh and bright with very nice decorations and furniture. All of the indoor rooms had plenty of fresh air and light. Each room was beautifully decorated and furnished. The colors throughout the building were soothing and comfortable. The facility can accommodate all levels of ambulation. Communal activity rooms were spacious, with comfortable furniture. The seniors can easily socialize, play games, watch TV and films and participate in many other stimulating activities. All private rooms had a great deal of natural light and fresh air with very comfortable furniture and featured plenty of space with nice decorations. Seniors can use the exercise room at any time and also go on daily walks. Aerobics and yoga classes are offered, and they also supervision and instruction to ensure safety. The dining room was spacious with nice furnishings and a fresh decor. The food we saw looked and smelled delicious. The menus all had healthy food options for all kinds of diets. Healthy snacks are offered all day and into the evening, as well as whenever residents request them. The seniors appeared to be very active - and they can accommodate all levels of ambulation. The list of activities we saw included - sight seeing, musical events, seminars, local shopping, seminars, plenty of daily exercise, games, bowling, trivia, bingo, horseshoes, sing alongs and other gatherings. They also host a number of guest speakers to discuss interesting topics and books. The residents go on trips to visit the many local art galleries and museums and eat at casual and fine restaurants. The residents here looked very content in this living environment with plenty of entertainment. They were also well cared for by kind, considerate and capable staff.
