To Whom This Information May Be Of Need; Our family had need of in-home-care for my wife & a mother, with that being said we were lucky be told of At Home Preferred. From the interview through my wife's passing almost a year later, we had a wide arrange of changing needs/challenges and At Home Preferred met each with some of the finest individuals I have ever worked with and had the opportunity to know. We started with companions, then to CNAs, each with nothing but proper care of my wife as their first priority. They not only cared for my wife but they were there for myself and my children, we could have not asked for more. I believe these individuals really became family, that's how much they cared. I would truly recommend this fine group to help you in your time of need. Doug Allison

We have been very happy with At Home Preferred. Mom at first needed and wanted part-time companion care- someone to assist around the house, run errands, and even take her to appointments. The caregivers were wonderful, and this worked for a while until Mom's health began to seriously decline. Our caregiver needs changed quickly, and I was so impressed with the company's response. My contact at At Home Preferred is Lea Ann, and she has always been quick to respond, caring, kind, and completely professional.The caregivers are and have been so good to Mom; so caring and patient and willing to help her in any way that they can. Some of the current caregivers have been with Mom since we started, even though the shifts have lengthened considerably, and Mom has really appreciated that. Our entire family is so grateful.

Welcome to At Home Preferred
At Home Preferred is an in-home care company locally owned and operated in Indianapolis, Indiana by its parent company, RN & Allied Specialties, a Joint Commission accredited healthcare staffing company serving Central Indiana hospitals since 1995.
Although the core business of RN & Allied Specialties is to provide supplemental nursing staff to hospitals, we have always had requests to provide non-medical care in the home.
In 2011, we created a separate division to accommodate this growing demand. We felt strongly that we could bring our staffing expertise to the home care and senior care market that is largely made up of franchise and smaller companies that have limited experience with health care staffing. Hence, the story behind At Home Preferred.
This unique relationship between At Home Preferred and RN & Allied Specialties allows families to receive care in the home under almost any circumstance.
At Home Preferred is a Personal Service Agency licensed by the State of Indiana to provide the highest level of home care for families and loved ones. We offer a wide array of non-medical companion and home care services, including caregiver support for:
- Seniors
- New mothers and fathers
- Individuals with disabilities
- Individuals who have recently undergone a surgery, sustained and injury or been discharged from a hospital
