My aunt is at Hilltop of Pepper. I have been going there for several years, and I like the place. The times I've been there, I would give them a five because they are friendly, and my aunt's room is beautiful. You can go outside, but you can't get out of there unless you go through the main door; it is a locked place. I have been there when she was eating, and she liked it although I didn't taste it myself. They asked if I'd like to eat, but I didn't have that much time to stay. At one point when I was there, my aunt was in distress because of mouth sores or so, and I didn't know where to find the staff person because it was during lunchtime, and the one that there was the cook, so I mentioned it to the cook, and the cook went and got one of the gals that takes care of that kind of thing. She came and looked at it, and then she went and got some medication, put it on my aunt, and took care of it.

I thought Hilltop was very nice. I didn't have a problem with it. It's just too much like a nursing home and for intermediate care. I had to explore because I wasn't sure what my mom needed. So after the tour, I realized that she wasn't ready to go and do something like that.
