The process for moving in was a bit confusing, but once in the experience has been wonderful. We had concerns about Mom’s adjustment, but she is very happy there.

The Waterford at Wisconsin Rapids was nice. The staff was friendly. Everyone was incredibly nice. The place was beautiful. They have a lot of different activities that the memory care residents can do all the time. They have a lot of little rooms with specific things that residents enjoy. It was great. That was our top choice.

The Waterford at Wisconsin Rapids was very nice. The manager showed us around, explained all the costs and amenities, showed us the different rooms, and was real nice. The tour was very informative. The place looked very clean and well-kept. They had plenty of activities, amenities, and things to do. They had a board where they had different things on different days.

I thought The Waterford at Wisconsin Rapids was an excellent place. I have no complaints about it and the gentleman who showed it to me was great. I thought the facilities were great and I definitely would consider it. I think my mother would, too. I visited their assisted living and it had exactly what my mom was looking for, which was a one-bedroom with a kitchenette apartment. The rooms looked clean, and they looked like they had as much square footage as she would need. I've checked out 4 places now, and that's typical of the size so I thought it was a nice place. I know they had a communal room outside where they eat, where the people could meet, and the people living there could get together. I can't remember if it was a library or if it was bingo, but I know that they had activities for the people there too. I think besides basics like laundry and food, they had something else that they did. There were some other things that they did that I thought were kind of above and beyond. I remember that they are $4000 a month and had some extras in there that I thought were pretty good. I just can't remember now.

We visited The Waterford at Wisconsin Rapids and did a walk through with a lady named Lisa. It appeared to be real, real nice. It also has a memory care attached to it, just in case mother needs to go there later on. We toured the assisted living, and the community was welcoming. It was an open facility with people moving around. It was real homey, and the atmosphere was just inviting. There was a couple of people sitting and talking, and then there was another couple of people walking in the open area. They had plants and some other stuff to make it real attractive or homey. It was something that I think my mother would like. The staff was very informative. We visited a couple of rooms, and we went to the dining area and to the recreation area. Any questions we had, she had answers for. She was real knowledgeable and very, very helpful. If she did not know the answer to a question, she was able to find time to get an answer for us. Then she would call us back on anything we wanted to do. Actually, I need to get in touch with her soon. She was real open, and she wasn't pushy. The dining area was open, and it was a pretty big area. It wasn't crowded, and they had tables and one couple to a table. I didn't really study it, but I know it looked very attractive. They were actually redoing a couple of the rooms when we got there. They have nice laminate wood floors. It was up-to-date, and they're modernizing the bathrooms. They had a nice, decent kitchen there also.

When your mom is clearly not getting the proper care and gets a fairly good size bruise on her cheek. What on earth! Always have to hunt down staff. Zero cameras as I know of in the common areas. These poor people go from room to room and yes, you can't blame them as they do not know what they are doing. Absolutely shameful!

I liked that The Waterford at Wisconsin Rapids was a safe place. They just didn't seem to have that many caretakers per resident, and I was kind of upset about that. They showed me the rooms in the memory care. It was spacious and everyone had a bathroom. So, that was appealing. They were just lacking with staff.

I went to The Waterford at Wisconsin Rapids and I liked the setting of the community very well. I think my sister-in-law would be very pleased there. The room size was a little bit bigger, and I was just really pleased with that I saw. The staff was very pleasant, the facility looked very clean, and everybody was just friendly to me. The staff showed me two rooms, and each one got a microwave, a refrigerator, a small sink area, and walk-in showers. I was really impressed with that. She also showed me the kitchen area, as well as the dining area where the residents were placed apart, not sitting close to one another.

Rooms met criteria for comfort. Due to Covid virus, interaction with staff and other residents not optimal. My long distance needs to communicate with Mom were cheerfully assisted by staff when needed. Staff seemed very helpful and their assistance was appreciated. I cannot judge the quality of food, facilities or activities as I could not be in the area. This facility was the best option at the time for Mom and therefore was of value to her family. I would like to thank all the staff who interacted in a positive manner through this difficult time. Thank you.

The day we were supposed to go to The Waterford at Wisconsin Rapids, the person who was supposed to be there that day unfortunately wasn't, and when we walked in, we were not met by anyone. We had to go and find someone, and they had to go and find someone to find us. They showed us the memory care area and assisted living, but I didn't see any residents at all except in the memory care part, which was kind of weird. It wasn't very good because there weren't people out and about. The building itself was beautiful, and the rooms were very nice.

The Waterford was good, but the people there didn’t even know we were coming, and we had to wait. However, the staff was very good about it, she gave us a tour, and it was a nice place. It was more homey and a little more comfortable.

The place was very nice, and the people were friendly. I called earlier during the week and said that I wanted to have a tour, and the only day I could make it would be Friday and that I needed to know the cost and stuff. When I got there, the person that could give me what the prices were and everything was not there, but I did get a good tour, and staff was friendly. Physically, Pine Ridge was clean, and the people who were there looked happy.

Pine Ridge Assisted Living is conveniently located in lovely Wisconsin Rapids, Wisconsin. We were considering it as a place for our uncle to live. We arrived without an appointment - and the staff was very cordial and accommodating. The outside grounds were park-like, which we know our uncle will appreciate. The main areas were all clean and well-taken care of. We really liked that the staff and residents seemed to interact very well and liked one another. It has a family environment - which we feel will be good for our uncle - since it will be challenging to get us all together to visit him. The dining rooms were lovely and homey -- with home-style cooked food that is still healthy enough for any dietary need. We met the dietician who prepared the menus and were told that every effort is made to include as many choices as possible - to keep the residents interested in eating well. There are regular healthy snacks offered as well. The local library sends staff to help residents take out books. They also go to many cultural and city-wide happenings. There were plenty of great activities to participate in - which our uncle would really appreciate. The facility offers all of the typical outings and events - in addition to a few more. This is a very nice place to live for seniors, with kind, caring and attentive staff.
