Finding a facility for a loved one is not an easy journey and also not a lot of reviews to gain knowledge when doing all your research. Started in July 2020 contacting over 10 different facilities in the community getting pricing and understanding care levels they offer to see if a loved one can age in place. In January 2021 we were ready to make a decision. Care Partners was one of the few facilities that returned calls quickly, set up tours quickly (during Covid-19) and wanted to help make accommodations for loved one. We toured 4 facilities and loved chose this location. A mature building nestled in a magnificent wooded area filled with wildlife and kind loving caregivers. Petti provided me her cell phone and was great returning text the week of move in even when she was on vacation. Our Loved one’s body over heats and during our tour we asked about installing a ceiling fan to help him stay cool. The day of move it was installed early in the morning. Staff welcomed him with gifts and card. They allowed us to install extra grab bars in bathroom as our loved one is super high fall risk. Also got the cell number of assistant director who has also been very helpful during the transition including coming on Saturday to great him on his first day. They have been extremely helpful during moving in with questions and requests. The loved one has been there now for a few months and really likes the smaller building he selected and feels well taken care of. I would highly recommend Care Partners for their exceptional customer service when getting a loved one placed and for the kind loving staff working.

I toured Care Partners Assisted Living in Stevens Point. The rooms were more than adequate, and they only showed us a single room. It was in a heavily wooded area, and getting to the facility was kind of difficult. We just didn't care for that facility at all. The staff were very cordial and friendly. Their common area was nice, then we did get the walk-through. They have a worship area and that was very nice. It seemed to be the oldest of the ones that we saw or the least updated. The rooms needed to be freshened up. I saw some nicks in the walls. The paint in the bathroom where they would grab to open up the medicine cabinet, you could see where their hand touched the wall. So, just a little freshening up would be the only thing. Their worship area was very nice. They did have an outdoor space, and I don't know if that was the main one or not, but it was just by the front doors. They have some seating there and that type of thing. It was hard to tell because there was snow on the ground. The facility was clean. I didn't see stuff on the floor or anything like that. The tiles were waxed, and the carpets and the suite that we looked at were clean. So, it was good.

My mother moved into Care Partners Assisted Living in Stevens Point last December. They have two 16-unit, single bedroom places. At that time, it was one of the few places you could find up there without COVID, and still is. There are two units, A and B, and hers is the A unit. From what I've seen of the staff, it's pretty good. There's quite a few people that actually care. My mother says there's too much food all the time, so evidently that's a good thing. I visited her twice a week. The one thing they still got going is visitation. The room is fairly good. There's a restroom in each room, and there's a window. I wasn't terribly taken with their basic cable that's supposed to be there, but they're working on that. Other than that, I think it's pretty good. It's built on the edge of a woods-type thing. I don't think they have any gardens or anything like that, but there are lots of trees. They've got an activity director, and they've got games and therapy. She's right adjacent to the dining area, and they have a large TV out there. They seem to have a pretty good crowd actually watching TV out there and different programs and stuff on the television during Christmas.
