My aunt has moved into Milestone Senior Living Stoughton. It's an excellent facility. The living atmosphere is very pleasant and very positive. I like that they check on her every two hours, I like that they provide all three meals, I like that they provide laundry service, and they clean her apartment twice a week. They would help with the medicines, although she's able to do that herself. They are full service; I'm impressed. The staff have all been very pleasant. They're very helpful, and they're there when she needs them. She has a call button on her around her neck, so when she needs help, she calls. Of course, sometimes you have to wait for a few minutes while they're helping someone else, but that's understandable, and she's always gotten the help she's needed. They have activities. My aunt has participated in bingo. When I was there last week, they had a movie running. They've got activities, plus they also have chair exercises three times a week. She can participate in that to get her strength back. I haven't tried their food, but I had seen it and it looked quite good. She says that she gets much more food than she needs, so she had to tell them to cut back on the servings because she didn't want to put on a lot of weight. She has only been there for 10 days, but so far, I'm impressed. Their director and their nurse have been very helpful. My aunt had a medical episode already while she was there, and they took care of it. The facility is clean, smells good, and looks happy. It is top-notch. Compared to a nursing home, it's a very good value.

My mother is in Milestone Senior Living - Stoughton. The staff has been nice, warm, and welcoming. We were able to do a little family gathering before Christmas. We're still allowed to visit and things like that. There are just more precautions, which is important due to COVID. We are welcome there any time. They encourage people to visit. She enjoys being there. They have different music programs and other activities. Today, she was able to listen to a musical performance, which was nice. There's a hair salon which she loves, so she's able to get her hair cut, styled, and washed. She's able to come and go and so my dad can take her out to go to Culver's or can take her to appointments if need be. It just feels like a home environment. She's doing well there. We feel she's safe. Some people can care for her and provide her with the care that she needs 24 hours a day. She is in the memory care section. She has her own room with a private bathroom and shower, but it's like a one-room mini apartment. She's able to have a mini-refrigerator in there. There isn't anything more than that. She dines in with the other residents in the dining room, which is nice. There's a library and a place where you could have a family gathering. It's like a private area that had a mini kitchen. We were able to have a mini family gathering with all the grandkids, which was nice. There's some food that my mom likes, and there are some things she doesn't like so much, but she's also kind of picky. I've seen the menu. She's got her favorite people that work there. Just like everywhere, it's short-staffed and different people come in. She has her favorites and appreciates them when they are there.

My relatives will be moving to Milestone Senior Living - Stoughton. We chose this place because it's a beautiful community, and it's a beautiful apartment. They were very helpful, they worked with us and helped us through this entire process, and made it possible for my aunt and uncle to live there. We're very happy for them to be moving there; it's a beautiful place. It's a very warm atmosphere, it's very clean and very bright. The staff who assisted us during the tour were very, very friendly, very kind and helpful. They were wonderful. Each apartment has its own balcony or deck, depending on what level you're on; and the whole place is just beautiful. Their amenities are wonderful. They have a movie room, and they have a big area where families can come and gather and bring food or cooked food there. So there's an ability to have a nice social gathering, they have exercise and games and all kinds of things for the residents to do there.

We toured both the assisted living and memory care sections of Milestone Senior Living - Stoughton. It was beautiful. All of their rooms either had patios or balconies, and the kitchens were very well laid out. They had a peninsula that came out between the kitchen area and the living room. It was table height, so you could use that rather than having another table. The thing that impressed me the most was the manager. He took us into his office, sat down with him because he wanted to know what our needs were and my mother's. We were probably in his office for at least a good 30 minutes or so. We saw a few ladies that were in an activity room playing bingo. They had a beautiful dining room and they had snacks available for the people at all times. They had game areas, puzzle areas, and it was pretty well thought out. Whoever did the designing of that, sure was right on task. The bedroom had a door on the side that went through a closet, and then into the bathroom. The closet was huge and it had a built-in dresser in the bathroom, so you could put on some undergarments if you want. It was done very nicely. All in wood and it's pretty impressive. Although the price was pretty impressive too. The manager was very attentive, very nice, very professional and most of all, he wanted to help you figure out what your needs were, even if you weren't going to live there. I think he just wants to help people put their loved ones in a good spot. He was giving information that maybe you didn't necessarily think about, so that was kind of his goal.
