Very clean, warm, and positive place. My aunt lived in their memory care. the staff and management were so supportive and compassionate any time I came to visit. What I really loved is how engaged the aides are with the residents they did activities like beach ball and music therapy. You can just tell the employees are passionate and truly care about what they do.

Most reviews focus on independent living. I agree that this is adequate. However moving to assistant living reveals many shortcomings. There is a lot of staff turnover. Seems like many are there for less than a year. This is particularly evident in food service. My mother has meals delivered to her room as she does not care for communal dining. Often specific meal items are left off. Sometimes an entire meal is missed. Requests can be made for the "alternative" menu item usually offered. But the standard item is delivered. These inconsistencies can be very upsetting. When I asked the administrator about food quality and nutrition standards I was told there are no governmental nutrition standards for assisted living facilities. Only nursing homes.

I toured Clement Manor. They had an activities director, they had meals, and I saw some people walking around and stuff like that. However, it just didn't have some things I was looking for. I wasn't as sold on the place. My brother liked that one, but I didn't. They were knowledgeable, and I think they answered my questions. I don't remember there being an issue with that. I thought the staff was okay. It's a lot based on Catholicism like there was a mass going on when I was in there; however, my mom wasn't raised Catholic. My brother and his wife were interested in that one, and they were Catholic, but I thought, I'm picking this for my mom. It's not for what they want, but what my mom would want. That's the part why I didn't pick that one for my mom because she wasn't of that faith. If my mom would have been a Catholic, then that would have made me give it one point higher. Everybody has stuff that matters to them, and that's how it was for me.

We went to Clement Manor. It was very welcoming, more like a hotel, just clean, and a very warm feeling. The staff was very knowledgeable. I felt that they were very caring and answered all questions without hesitation. I saw an exercise group, and dining was all that was going on when we were there. They have a lot of lounges. The residents can get out of their rooms; they're not stuck. There's a lot of places to go. They have activity rooms, the dining area and the patios. It was very nice.

My father is in independent living at Clement Manor. It's fine. Probably what I like most is that they are still allowing visitation in the independent living. Probably what I like least is that I think, given its age, could have been renovated more than it has. That's the biggest drawback. The central area could have been updated. I think all of the hallways, all of the common areas, just could be cleaner and more updated. After Covid, all the activities were stopped. I think they should offer more variety for the food.

We visited Clement Manor and only saw the independent living facility, even though this is a continuum of care community. The residents that we saw were very pleased with their care. We thought that the lounge was dark and very small, we thought that the apartment was just a turnoff, and so we didnt think that it was a bargain. This is a Roman Catholic community sponsored by the school system of Saint Francis, so there are regular masses there. A couple times a month they have Protestant services. They have different ways you can go in. You can go in and pay (which is about market price, or you can go in at a five-year plan and lay out some money, which probably reduces your rent. The person we talked to wasn't sure what the five-year plan did and said she'd get back to me. Sure enough, I had it the next day, but we told her that we wouldn't be coming back because there was no dishwasher and no washer and dryer. She still invited us back to a meal, and we were very impressed with her.

Clement Manor is highly recommended with a continuum of care thst provides for them as the need increases. They have crafts, Tai-chi, needlecraft, a putting green, worship service, and a clergy comes for the service. They offer a basic array of activities, people come and bring music and pets; it helps so much with aging.

My mom liked Clement Manor because it is a Catholic community that holds mass every day. The staff has been really nice. The food is good, too. The rooms are old but clean and updated. As for the activities, they play cards, have games where they do recognition to help their memory, pray the Rosary, and have get-togethers to keep the residents active.

Putting our mom here was a big mistake. While she was there we noticed that they are dangerously understaffed. There were only 4 cna's for as many as 98 patients. And just 1 nurse in the evening. Mom was assessed to be appropriate for assisted living but many of the people required much more care. Obviously they were not getting that care with only 4 cna's and sometimes less to do the work. They don't seem to know what they are doing. We are presently looking for at least a better staffed facility.
