This is a nice facility. Cozy, and up kept very well! Clean, home made meals and desserts! I had a unexpected tour here, and the house was beyond clean and homey! Staff is very friendly, professional, and very knowledgeable about this field of care. As I don't have any knowledge of this type of work or how things work, the manager took the time to explain to me how the transition works. The realistic part of the transitions as well as the benefits of it after with the right care and team work from all ends! Families are encouraged to partake in their loved ones life it can help in the transition I've learned. I noticed the facilities Castle offers are around 8 beds per home in which I loved because the smaller the place the more quality of care can be provided I've learned. I had a friend live in the bigger facilities you hear about, and they are nice but staffing was a huge issue and there was always shortage meaning the patients are getting bare min Care, etc . The smaller the better I hear. My friend now moved to a castle home and loves it! She's been here over a year. The staff are very organized and on top of her cares, medications, etc. There is always some thing going on she said for entertainment. The staff offer the people choices of things they would like to do! There's also times most just want to relax and read a book there's no pressure she said! The manager had flowers all planted with little name plates on each planter for each person how creative!! The other staff I seen on her way out from her shift held the door for me and guided me to who I was to see when I came in. The gals were very helpful and I can't stresss how clean the facility is and festive! One lady I met on my tour told me the staff really love her like family, as she doesn't have much family in Wisconsin and loved them like her own family! There's no pressure as I am on a waiting list as it is to get in here but to say the least I would love to come here and call this my home! I seen the menu there, I can't wait to try the French toast. The manager said the cook is authentic at what she makes and can create some yummy dishes and I like that. Any place will have their quirks I suppose but for a nice facility that is clean, homey, and other patients share with you that they like it or have been there for years told me enough to be put on Camelots List! Thanks to the ladies here for the great hospitality and the hot cup of coffee you made for us, and the snack! Again this was a surprise visit and they didn't rush me, very classy of them. Sincerely Beverly.

It is in my opinion, that any family or family member considering to place their loved one in one of Castle Home Care, Inc's facilities would be making a grave mistake. Finding a residence for your loved one is already a difficult and heartbreaking process, and it is in my opinion that you will suffer added and undue heartbreak and frustration should you place your loved one at one of Castle Home Care's residences. It is also in my opinion, that the proprietors of Castle Home Care do not possess a moral or ethical compass and do not stand behind what they advertise in regards to the care and safety of their resident(s) as observed first-hand while my mother was under their care and supervision: misappropriation/theft of residents property; misappropriation of medication; unadministered medication; caregivers refusal to administer medication; caregivers refusal to help and/or assist a resident; caregivers neglect of resident's basic needs and assistance; caregivers sleeping while on duty; high-turnover rate of caregivers; understaffing of caregivers; lack of food supplies & toilet products; residence not maintained in clean and sanitary manner as to not expose residents to communicable and/or infectious diseases; lack of leisure activities; and experienced proprietors forms of retaliation and harassment when my family aired genuine concerns and grievances in regards to the care of my mother.

Poorly trained staff, absence of pre-planned leisure activities for residents, food menu not mindful of residents dietary needs, lack of cleanliness. Overall, would not recommend.
