My mom has been at Foresthill Highlands Apartments for almost 15 years. The buildings are lovely and very well cared for. The people are usually quite good to work with but sometimes you like some people more than others. For the most part, my mom hasn't had difficulties with the people running the place. There's a small workout area in one of the buildings. They have a big community room where a lady comes in once a month and they order meals. They have bingo, card games, Wii bowling, musicians, and seasonal parties. My mom has a two-bedroom, two-bath apartment which is not that large. There's something larger and smaller, so there's a variety of apartment types. It's expensive and a lot of people won't be able to afford it.

I went to Foresthill Highlands Apartments & Townhomes. I didn't get to see an actual apartment because they were full. I saw the one that the representative was using as an office, but it's beautiful. They had a nice walking area and many amenities inside. There was a large storage closet with tons of shelving right across from your apartment. It was just very, very nice. I just did not see an actual inside of an apartment. The staff during the tour was very nice and very helpful. They had underground parking, a huge community room, and a smaller one. It was beautiful, and I would love to live there. That would be my #1 choice.

Foresthill Highlands was very quiet. Everybody was very friendly. It seemed to accommodate the age group that it was seeking to accommodate. It was just very well kept. They only have independent living at this particular facility. It's not a care facility, and it's just for fifty-five-plus residents. I went twice; I went once with my brother, and then I took my mom. The people who gave me the tours were actually ambassadors: they're actual tenants. They took us around, they were extremely pleasant, and they could tell you about their personal experiences and all that kind of good stuff. They don't serve food. It was very nice looking and calming, and it was just a beautifully landscaped area. For my mother, it's close to her family members who can visit, and that's all she cares about. She likes it.

Foresthill Highlands Apartments & Townhomes was beautiful. They don't have meals, but they do have activities, a beauty parlor, underground parking, gazebo, and a lot of outdoor space. It is a beautiful area, it's brand-new, a year or 2 at the most, the apartment, and everything is new in there. The staff was very professional and very nice. It was very clean, too. They don't have anything much going right now, but they do have a fitness class once a week, bingo nights, arts and crafts on another day, and international beer day. Sometimes once or twice a month they'll have food brought in. I saw the 1-bedroom, and 2-bedroom, they were nice, and had everything brand new in there, and so it was up to date.
