The Meadows of Fall River memory care has done an excellent job, and I appreciate that. The facility itself is very, very clean, and the people are very helpful. Any kind of an issue and I get informed right away. It seems to be meeting his needs. They bring a lot of activities, but I'm not sure if my father's very much into activities. They do pay attention to him, they check on him frequently, and if there's an issue, they call me about it, so it's very good. It's expensive because it's memory care. It's an expensive area to be in, but it's very, very good. My dad hasn't lost any weight so I think the food can't be too bad either.

The Meadows of Fall River was wonderful. The tour went fine. They showed me all around. It was a beautiful place, and the care seemed adequate. The staff was very informative and nice. They were playing a bowling game when I was there. I saw the dining room and it's nice. It's got elevators, which was nice. They had a salon, a small but adequate library, and they had a very nice lounge area with a big fireplace when you first walked in the door. It was homey.

I toured The Meadows of Fall River. I felt like it was very, very institutional and very depressing. There was not a lot of counter space in the bathroom and it looked like an institutional bathroom. Maybe it's designed for people in wheelchairs. It's in a more rural location. The activities were things my dad would not be that interested in. They have their own dollar store that they didn't even show to us, but they let the residents go to their own dollar store. It felt more like a memory care facility. I know they have memory care there that is separate, but I felt like it was more along those lines. It felt very much more institutional. The kitchen was just basically a refrigerator and a sink in the corner of the living room. The carpeting was like a very thin restaurant carpeting over a cement floor. It was probably the worst place that we saw. We only met with a salesperson and one other person who was using the office where we met and I felt like that was a little weird too. She was just using the table that we met at like they didn't have any other place to meet. But both of them seemed nice. The building looked new. It looked like it could be very nice, but I have to say it wasn't neat. It wasn't orderly. It was kind of messy. They have a movie room and I don't know what they had been doing in there, but we walked in and it was just a mess of chairs everywhere and stuff everywhere.

The tour at The Meadows of Fall River was really great. The people were friendly. The place was very modern and uplifting. They also have a memory care facility, which is a good thing for us too. The staff was very nice, told us a lot, and explained a lot to us that we didn't understand. It was great. They have apartments with nice, large windows so they can see outside the lawn and other areas. They had two pages of activities that they do there, the trips that they take, and everything else. So, there was a lot to do. They had exercise, a movie theater, and they had a big library.

The Meadows of Fall River is well kept up. They just recently replaced the flooring in the dining area and the main hallway downstairs to be non-carpeted so that they would be able to clean it more easily. It's bright and cheerful, everything is well painted, and there are no obvious signs of neglect in terms of the maintenance of the facility. The meals are well done, and they're offered choices. The staff is very kind. Their activities director and activities aide are very engaging. They do a wonderful job there. My parents enjoy doing the current events, the exercise programs, the musical things, and the movie nights. If there are other people that are in the area that are looking, they would be happy with this facility.
