My mother has moved into KindredHearts of Elkhorn. The staff is very accommodating and made us feel welcome. Everything is fine. We liked it. It's small, they're friendly, and it's clean. They play bingo, they have movie days, and they have arts. I helped mom move in, and I only interacted with the person running it. Mom said the food is fine. Every place costs way too much, but for the care that they have to give, I suppose it's what they have to do. I got the impression they were more reasonable than other places down there. We chose this place partly because of its location (I have three sisters down there), she knew somebody that was at the facility, and probably because she's private pay, but they don't require a year and a half of private pay before having to go on assistance. I don't have anything bad to say about them.

We've moved our mom to KindredHearts of Elkhorn. It's a nice place, and we've also moved before for another family member (that's how we based our decision). Her room is a decent size, and it's a big room. The facility is very homey in terms of decor and the furnishings. It doesn't feel like an institution. The staff is fabulous. With COVID, we don't get to go too often, and they restrict a lot. They have activities like bingo, movies, puzzles, and game nights. The value for the money is very good. The location is very convenient and is right off the highway.

You would want your loved one here. It is caring, clean and loving. A true home with a family feel. I would wish to be here when I need this type of services. Food is delicious and made fresh at the home. Staff could not be nicer and director more knowledgeable. We are very happy.

The staff at KindredHearts was nice and good. The dining room looked nice, but the rooms where the people live didn’t impress us at all. They have bingos and trips. The place is safe and secure.
