When the decision was made to place my mother into a memory care facility I was very apprehensive after hearing stories. My mother has been there just over two years and I have been very pleased. The staff is warm and caring despite the stressful job they have. The activities that are provided include monthly outings, guest speakers and just everyday activities- memory, counting, matching games; stories, songs and some large muscle activities as deemed fit. I am extremely comfortable leaving my mother in their loving hands.

I was in desperate need of a place for my mother. I live 4 miles from Pinebrook Pointe. I was given a tour and all my questions were answered . All I can say is that the staff is amazing and professional, I never smell any “particular” odors and I see the place clean all the time. If I need something or someone they are there! I love the feel of home at this facility and the residents are introduced to so many different activities and events. My mother is hard core difficult and they show nothing but respect and kindness . She has a beautiful room that has a kitchenette and a full bathroom in a secure memory care . I would highly recommend to anyone that has a loved one that needs that “special” care.

Pine Brook Pointe was not very clean, and I didn't like the fact that they didn't have full bathrooms in their rooms. You'd have to have a communal kind of type of shower, and when they showed me that bathroom, the bathtub was filthy. The staff was very friendly and very nice. I was pleased with her. She was very informative. The tour experience was fine, it's just the facility itself that I wasn't pleased with. They have activities, they've got a patio, and they have a beauty salon. They have a nice place for people to go out and sit.

We went to Pine Brook Pointe. It was very nice too. Their prices were too high. It was all very clean. Some of them were under construction. We saw some of the people eating their lunch. The girls were doing good. They were feeding the residents.

We chose Pine Brook Pointe for my mom. The tour was fine and the facility is fine, clean, and neat. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable. It seemed alright, but we only had a ten-minute tour. We saw common areas and we got to look at one of the rooms where the resident had just been moved out. It wasn't cleaned up or anything yet, but it was fine.

Pine Brook Pointe was newer, but a little more expensive than the other places that we saw. The amenities were pretty good, but the layout was a little more institutional. The staff member seemed knowledgeable, friendly, and helpful. They have a bigger activity room than other places and some nice areas for visiting with loved ones. It was a nice place, but the cost was a drawback. They have guest musicians, and they have a big piano. It's brighter and airier, but it's also less homey. The room sizes were fairly good. It's a good facility.

Pine Brook Pointe is a newer, clean facility with fireplaces. The thing that I want her to have is more outside activities while she can still do them, and they provide that. If they can get around, they go to Wal-Mart in a shuttle, go to plays, and go out to eat once a week. It was the weekend and I didn't see that many workers there, but it could've been in between shifts. That's something that I'm concerned about.

Mother moved into Pine Brook 3 months ago, and she has a room in the memory care. There were about 10 people in the memory unit and around 60 overall. It's right in town, and it takes me only 7 minutes to get there. The food seemed good, she seemed to like it, and there's a choice you can have for each meal. I think the staff is very good; they seemed to like her and enjoy her. They do pay attention to their residents; there's one person at all time, and most of the time, there were 2.
