One of the things that we liked about Care Partners Assisted Living in Eau Claire was it is associated with the state. It wasn't as well kept as the other one that we toured, but we did like the fact that they take Medicaid. We talked to several of the residents there, and they were very comfortable and happy. We visited at mealtime, and they had good food. It just wasn't quite as clean and as up-to-date as the other one we visited. The staff was wonderful. They were very good. We sat down and talked with them as well, and they were very helpful and answered all of our questions. So, we appreciated the staff. We didn't taste the food. We sat down with a couple of people while they ate, and the food looked really good. The rooms were nice, but they didn't give you the feeling of being freshly cleaned. It wasn't filthy, dirty, or anything like that, but it just wasn't as clean as the other one that we had visited.

I visited Care Partners and they were very informative. They were good and the rooms were fine. They have activities. I went to their memory care unit and the staff was courteous. My sister-in-law was a resident. It was a good layout and everything was fine. I wouldn't hesitate being there. I like that it's all on one floor and it's more like a house.
