Evergreen Quality Home provides a warm, loving, and caring environment for seniors who can no longer live on their own. Our adult family home houses a maximum of six residents at one time. We have been serving the Vancouver, WA area since 2003 including the areas of Hazel Dell, Salmon Creek, Felida, Ridgefield and Lake Shore.
We can provide a high level of one-on-one attention that can be adjusted with the aging process to meet the needs of any individual. We specialize in caring for seniors with high-level needs such as: all types of dementia, stroke recovery, those bed bound and needing physical therapy. Due to our high level of care, our setting allows our residents to �age in place�. As they age they don�t have to relocate as their need level advances. Specialized nursing care, therapy, or hospice professionals can come to them at Evergreen Quality Home as they require. Thus providing all the services in the comfort of their home with dignity as well as cost savings. Aging in place is considered a �golden standard� for senior care because relocating can be disconcerting or disorientating to many elderly.
The staff at Evergreen Quality Home prides themselves on providing a safe, clean environment filled with various social and recreational activities. Our residents enjoy an overall sense of well-being, constant routine and most importantly a sense of home. We understand the hardships that may come with aging not only on the senior but the family as well. Our staff is sensitive to this realization and this is why we strive to make the transition as simple as possible and give families the peace of mind they deserve.
All the caregivers are given background checks and fingerprinted. As well they must be qualified and screened for the following:

My mother was at Evergreen Quality Home for about 5 years before passing. During her stay, this home was always spotlessly clean and fresh. The living arrangements were ideal for the small number of residents to interact, watch TV or read. The staff were incredibly kind and compassionate and mom was always bathed, dressed and sitting in the living room when I visited. John, Marcia and their team represent everything that distinctive adult care should be. I would highly recommend Evergreen Quality Home for your loved one.

I was told up front what my responsibilities were and what type of care will be provided. I can not be more pleased by the care my father has received and the loving and compassionate respect for each and every person in their care. They have a beautiful home built for privacy and provide a sense of community. We have blessed to have found such a loving and caring home. The rooms are private and beautifully furnished. Every staff member is very caring. There was a time at an event that she had someone come in and sing with the residents which was extremely enjoyed by all.

When we first visited Evergreen Quality Home, my mother did not want to leave. She instantly felt loved. Upon moving in and during her stay she received the best care possible both mentally and physically. The facility was always clean and inviting. The staff was always friendly and helpful in any way I requested. I always left with a sense of peace because it was obvious she was happy and well cared for. In her last days they were very skilled with the hospice procedures and provided loving and emotional support for my family. I highly recommend this quality home. Your loved one will get the care you are looking for.

Over two years ago, we looked for an adult family home for our mother. She needed 24/7 supervision and help with almost all activities of daily living. The two most important things for us were the staff and the physical facility. We looked at multiple settings but, for us the choice was clear. Evergreen Quality Home was the perfect setting for our mother. The staff is exceptional! Health and safety are at the heart of their care but what sets them apart is their lovingkindness and gentleness. Each person is treated with respect and given a sense of hope and joy. They are assured they are not a burden and the staff cheerfully sees to their needs. The facility is set up so that the residents have their own bedroom and bathroom. The bedrooms are big enough to entertain guests if they want privacy. The great room is arranged conversationally with a big, comfy chair for each person. This enables them to see each other, watch TV and do their activities together as friends. The meals are family style, all together at the table. This greatly reduces isolation. We are thankful that Evergreen Quality Home is here for our mom. They have kept their clients healthy through this pandemic and kept an atmosphere of hope and peace for their clients and the families that love them.
