I moved into Clearwater Springs Assisted Living for 14-day respite care. They had a happy hour last Friday night and they have bingo going on today. They have an ice cream social. The food is very satisfactory. The staff is very caring and very interested in your well-being. This facility is great. It's clean, bright, and open, and you don't feel like you're in a dark room. I just didn't give them a 5 rating because it's not a 5-star hotel.

I like Clearwater Springs Assisted Living. Everybody seemed to know each other. That's the thing when you get into these facilities, you don't want somebody to get lost or left behind, and at Clearwater, they seemed to take their time with it. It's a very nice, nice open facility. The dining area was a nice open area. They had their movie room, their library, their game stuff, and exercise. The apartment would have been adequate. It was a nice size. It would fit the needs that my stepdad needed. We looked at a studio. The staff who toured us had been there for some years. So that they had a staff that was committed and enjoyed working there. I have now learned there are a lot of changeovers in these facilities with staff, but Clearwater Springs seems to have stability in their staffing.

Clearwater Springs Assisted Living is the closest to us. They take Medicaid when my mom runs out of her funds, and that's real important. I like the feel and the size of it. I like the fact that she can get the assisted different levels of care, and may start out needing more care and then reduce back. I met the director who was able to answer all of our questions. I just felt that this would be the best fit for my mother. The director was warm, friendly, and caring. I didn't try the food, but it smelled good. It's very nice and appears clean, bright, and cheerful. The lighting in the place is nice. If they drive, it's really close to the interstate, shopping, pharmacies, and doctors' offices.

BEWARE DON’T LET THIS HAPPEN TO YOUR LOVED ONE!!! My mother-in-law was a resident at Clearwater Springs Assisted Living in Vancouver Washington for 11 months. During that time family members were there once or twice almost every day and normally twice a day. During the time at Clearwater Springs she had fallen a few times but without any real injury. On a Wednesday morning she fell and injured her forehead. She was sent to the hospital, and had forehead dressed and returned to Clearwater. Two days later, the wound was weeping a little, they sent her back to the hospital. A couple hours later when the hospital was going to release her Clearwater refused to allow her back. The hospital had no choice but to keep her and we had to start looking for another place for her to live. They gave us no warning even though her contract called for a 30 day notice in order to force her to move out but they just basically kicked her to the curb once she was off their property and dumped her on the hospital and apparently, according to the law, this is all legal. To make this even worse it all happened shortly after the start of the Covid19 pandemic started. Take care of your loved ones and pray that this doesn’t happen to any of them.

Clearwater has new owners. They raised the price $350 a month! No new amenities or anything else new. Nothing changed but new owners! This is quite an expense for limited income individuals. The residents are quite concerned. There seems to be no concern from owners just their financial pockets. They could at least try and offset costs by maybe t.v. and internet included--but nothing. In fact, there is no choice of options for tv coverage except Comcast! I am considering looking elsewhere for my mother.

Clearwater is clean, bright, open, and inviting. The people were friendly and couldn’t be more helpful. Food was good except for having assigned seating and the feeding times were set. The rooms were almost like a hotel room. It had a single bed, a small kitchenette area, and an attached bathroom.

My husband is at Clearwater Springs. He's been there for three weeks now. It's a very attractive facility. It's up to date, with lots of windows and light. All together, it has a pleasant environment. His apartment is nice and clean. He has a big bathroom, with a walk-in shower. We are able to bring his cat with him. The staff were all very good. Everything seems to be fine, but he is complaining about the food. They have good variety of activities. They have an ice cream social every Wednesday at 2 o'clock. They watch movies and play games. They also have a shuttle bus that takes people to concerts, to restaurants, and to doctor's appointments.

My grandmother stayed at this facility, there was also one in Eugene, Oregon called Fox Hollow but she was unhappy there and chose to move to the Clearwater facility instead to be closer to family and because she had contacts there and knew it was a better place. I have been there many times to visit her over the past year. It was a nice clean up to date facility with very caring staff.

I thought it was a beautiful place. The facility is well kept and you can tell that the faculty really care about taking care of this place and the residents. It provided great amenities and help with activities of daily need. The residents have full kitchens, emergency call systems, air conditioning, outside patios and gardens, 24 hour staffing, parking, etc....basically everything you would want or need in an apartment for an elderly individual. I felt very safe having my grandmother stay there and honestly enjoy visiting her more due to the great location. They even have a full time activity director that plans things for them to do and keep them busy! I also really appreciate the on site medical visits, help with her pills, health screenings, and help with her activities of daily living. She really loves it there and I am so glad we chose it for her. I do not have any negative comments to make about this location.
