I am staying at Cogir of Glenwood Place. Basically, they help me with my meds. I have someone in in the room when I'm bathing, and I am using their meals. The facilities are very nice. The room is great. They have an excellent pool, hot tub, sauna, locker rooms, and meal service. You can have in-room meals, if you choose. They have a dining hall and a buffet hall. There is a cafe called The Bistro that is open from 11:00 AM to 7:00 PM. You can choose to eat at another location or take it back to your room. The caregivers and doctors are great and very attentive. It has been a good experience so far. I have a one-bedroom with a living area, kitchenette (with a microwave), and a den. I worked with the activities director to try and find something down the road that I can go to as a classroom type thing. The guy who handles the gym and the pool has been great. I am set up now that I can go down and do some supervised work in the pool and whatnot, so that has been very good. Value for money is great.

We toured Cogir of Glenwood Place. I pretty much like everything about it. It was nice, neat, clean and modern. The staff who gave the tour was very friendly and nice. They have a restaurant, and the movie theater was appealing to my brother. Their barbershop was good, too. It was one level, and so it's a good location for him. The residents looked happy.

I toured Cogir of Glenwood Place. They weren't for me. I don't think I could go there because I have a food allergy, and they don't address food allergies. I wouldn't want to pay for three meals a day and not be able to eat easily. The people seem nice. It was just the food service wasn't something that was going to work for me. They have several different types of rooms depending on your budget. It was nice.

I liked the atmosphere at Cogir of Glenwood Place. They seemed livelier, but because they also had independent people living there at the same time. So, they're intermixing. They had a wonderful gym that you had to take the elevator to. Some of their equipment was nicer stuff. They had exercises, bean bag baseball, singing, cribbage, and a lot of other activities.

I toured Cogir of Glenwood Place. The tour was not as good as some. The sales lady was very pleasant, but I was in the lobby for quite a while, and she was late for our appointment. In the lobby, I overheard the receptionist, 'I'm so sorry it happened to you again. I did try to get them to come to your room,' and I was like, 'They need extra help.' I was there for half an hour, so I heard a lot of phone calls about the complaints. They're low on personnel or something. I went to their salad bar and their lettuce was brown, and I could tell that it was just bagged lettuce. It was iceberg lettuce with some carrots in it, and that didn't impress me whatsoever. Another big thing was, we went to go to the third floor and the elevator was out of order. The staff goes, 'Are you okay with the stairs?' I said, 'Sure.' We get to the stairs around the corner, and they're completely blocked off with tape and garbage bags. And I said, 'This doesn't look good. Where are the residents supposed to go upstairs if you're on the third floor?' 'Well, I'm going to move this tape and move this stuff out of the way.' So those three things are not for my folks. Hopefully, it's temporary and hopefully, they get more help to repair stuff. I know it's hard but no one else that I've toured has been like that.

My father will be moving into Cogir of Glenwood Place. Everybody seemed very nice there. Everything was clean, and it looked like well-equipped for everything that he could possibly need. It's almost like a resort within the whole place. I think he's going to be very happy there. They have meals that are included, and housekeeping. My father has basically his own apartment. There are also tons of activities. There were garden boxes that he could use to plant a garden. They have game night, and lots of social interactions that I think he'll just get along really great there. The person who I initially met, her name's Jewel, she was very informative and nice. She gave us the tour, was friendly and knowledgeable, and she really sold us on the place. We didn't have any of the meals, but the menus looked great. There are several different restaurants to choose from there.

We will be moving into Cogir of Glenwood Place. They had all the services in one place for continuous care. They also had two-bedroom apartments for both independent and assisted living. It was an excellent tour, very informative, and made me feel comfortable. The dining area was very clean, nicely decorated, and very comfortable.

My friend is at Cogir of Glenwood Place. He's only been there for a few months and they've already increased the fees in the memory care unit. And then there is a fee increase for living in the environment which is going to happen on his one-year anniversary, and that rate's going to go up 9%. That's one of the reasons for needing to move him out of there because of those fees. I had a problem trying to get ahold of the person that does the billing because there were services that he was not getting. I left a message and waited for 3 days, but I didn't hear anything. After 4 days of calling back and leaving messages to return my call, he finally returned my call. It turned out that their new billing system was different from what they were using for 20 years because they had just recently been bought out. The bill was down to where I needed it to be. So, that was not a good introduction for me, but I've had no issues since. I don't know whether they don't have enough worker bees at this point. If you press, you can get what you want. There's not been a lot of consistency with the services he is getting, like showers he is not getting and toenails never getting clipped. They dump the laundry with everybody else's. Some clothes are always missing. Oftentimes, his room is not clean. Sometimes, he is not appropriately dressed. He'll have four pairs of socks on. On the other hand, he seems to be happy enough there. He has people that talk with him. When he wants to call his wife, they're very good about dialing the phone number and giving it to him and making sure that he can call her whenever he wants. The environment is absolutely clean. It's beautiful inside that facility. Their safety for their residents is very evident. Their doors are locked. During the summertime, they have an outside area with picnic tables. When a family wants to come to visit, they can go outside there with gated locks. It's a very nice facility. I don't see anybody screaming or yelling. I don't see unhappy people when I'm over there. The people at the front desk are very helpful in getting you where you need to go, which is always greatly appreciated. They have somebody that will come in and sing. They do exercises in the morning. They have a bus that will take them on a ride to various places.

My father is in Cogir of Glenwood Place. He's in memory care. We liked the location and we've had good communication. It is small and cozy. The staff is very nice so far. The food has been a problem. It has been a struggle and if we don't stay there, that'll be why. It's not that it's bad per se, it's that there isn't enough of it. For most people, that's fine. My dad is always hungry. They keep saying they're working on it, and I'm hoping it'll get resolved eventually. So far, I haven't seen it completely resolved. They have a ration per person and I am very shocked that it's not as much food as they want. It's very upsetting. My dad is super thin. It's something we're still working on. The food is not a selling point, but the facility is very nice and they have a nice outdoor area. They have sing-alongs and they have a sense of community. People are friends and they talk to each other. There are some good pluses, that's why we're giving it a chance and hoping it'll work out. They go on scenic drives, they have coloring, puzzles, and movies. It's not super heavy on activities. They decorated for Halloween, so it's really cute. Pricing is more reasonable than in some places.

Cogir of Glenwood Place was very clean. They were very nice people. The rooms were very, very nice with lots of amenities. It would be a nice place to live. There's a pool, they have three different eating places, and they have a gym. They just have lots of stuff there.

Cogir of Glenwood Place is a very active place. They have lots of activities like happy hour and movies. They also have an art room, a computer room, a game room, a library area, and lots of fireplaces. It's a large facility, so it just seemed a little less personal. It's pretty spread out. We walked a lot, which was too much for my aunt. It had long halls. It was in a busy area and as soon as you walked in it was really busy.

I'm in independent living at Cogir of Glenwood Place. The location is one reason why I chose them. They also worked with me to find a place to move into after I sold my condo, and so they helped me out on that. Food is okay. It's not five-star restaurant quality, but it's okay. I've been happy with what I've got. I have a one-bedroom. I like the fact that it has a little balcony. I haven't had time to get involved in activities yet. I'm still unpacking. They have a lot of things to get involved with, but I haven't had time. The staff has all been nice.

Cogir of Glenwood Place appealed to us more, because their facilities were larger for a two-bedroom and the cost was less. It is the only facility that we researched that offers two-bedroom units with an additional small room, which is referred to as a den. It measures about 10 by 14 and we would like to get into one of those because they're very unique. The staff was nice. The meals are the main attraction. There are different kinds of offerings and the one that appealed to us was the one in which the continental breakfast was included in the basic price. You could eat the other meals (that would be lunch or dinner) at $6 a piece if you wished (but you did not have to). So, it's not mandatory. Each one of these units has kitchens, so many of the residents will buy food for themselves and eat in their rooms.

I like Cogir of Glenwood Place. The marketing person was really friendly. We liked when we were walking around during the tour, how the employees there were really friendly and would say hello. It seemed like it was well run. Even though it's a large place, they have a framework established that helps connect people. They have ambassadors that would welcome new residents and make sure that they come down to meals, meet people, and get connected. We liked hearing that was in place. They also have employees that are overlooking certain sections so that even though it is a larger place, we felt like it sounded like people won't get lost there, that they have a really good way to connect with their residents and we liked that. They did a really good job and spent a lot of time showing us all around. I thought the physical appearance was fine. It looked like they took good care of it. It was not run down. However, you have to fill out something on a tablet and answer a bunch of questions and that one was a little bit confusing as a new person coming in to take a tour. It wasn't as intuitive. Their check-in was a little confusing.

My aunt and uncle moved into Cogir of Glenwood Place. They're living on their own, but they do have some help. The staff seems friendly and willing to help. The facility itself seems to be clean. The room that they moved into was clean. There are numerous things going on. They've got three different areas to eat at. There's a lot of opportunity and a lot of different types of events to go to and different options that they can choose to partake in if they want. They've got one place for buffet, one area where you can go sit down and have a meal, and a bistro where you can go in anytime and order whatever you want like hamburgers and milkshakes. They go see movies, and they take them to different appointments and stuff. They seem to be more reasonable than some of the others price wise. They keep the outside yard looking nice. It looked like a nice professional place, not a rundown place with chipped paint or anything. It seems like it's well maintained and groomed.

My parents are here. My favorite part is the staff. Everybody is very caring. They get to know the people that are there very well. They seem to like where they work and the residents seem to like being here. It's gotten easier and easier to get around because everything is kind of centralized, logical in terms of what's on what floor. The people seem to be able to get around pretty quickly. We've kind of been on the end, so I don't know if I'm the best one to be able to say that side of it because we've been in enhanced care, which is on its own little wing. They have quite a few activities to choose from, but because of the situation that we're in, we haven't been able to take part in any yet. The staff is awesome. The place is great, but it's the staff who makes it that way. The facilities are nice of what we've been able to use so far. Everything I've seen has been a 5, but we just haven't been able to use them.

My husband has been living here for three weeks now, and we made the right decision. The staff is phenomenal, they're busy doing things all the time, there are music people coming in, they take them out on rides, they paint, and they do puzzles.

I've been living here. They've got a marvelous staff, all of whom are friendly, warm, and willing to help. I couldn't ask for better. I'm in the gym right now, working on some machinery, they have bean bag baseball which is always a lot of fun, and they have lots to offer. They offer three meals a day. They have 1- and 2-bedrooms. It's a nice place.

My mom is here, and the place is fabulous. The building she's in is brand new, and she's the first resident there. She's taken the bus to doctors and shopping, and played games. She has a friend who live there.

It really impressed us and was nice. All of the people in charge seemed to really know their residents. They seemed to be really interested in their lives and their well-being. One disadvantage is that they had a severe lack of parking, although they assured us that we would get one guaranteed parking space, but we would like to have two.

The reasons we chose this community is because it had two-bedroom apartments available and it is more spacious than other facilities we saw. We liked everything we saw and fell in love with the place. It is beautiful with wide halls, a dining area, buffet, and bistro. The apartment we chose is a two-bedroom with lots of windows and a good size for us. There are so many activities to do at the facility.

We are here in a two-bedroom apartment with two baths. Any time I need any help, it is right there. They have three areas in which you can eat: the main dining room, a buffet, and a bistro cafe. One of the things that I personally like is that they have separate gates to gardens, complete with their own water supply for gardening. There are garden boxes, and everybody can have one. They have a pianist that comes every Thursday night, religious ceremonies, and a theater. The atmosphere is very good. The appointments are just outstanding.

I have already moved my grandparents here. The people are super friendly, and it is a very clean facility. The staff is excellent. I feel that they are very caring. They have a two-bedroom apartment and it is quite large. We have been down to the café and the dining hall and they have very good food. There are too many things for one person to do. There are magicians that come in, they have social hours three times a week, and they do outings. There are two or three outings in a week. My grandparents have been there for about six months now.

My son visited for me because I was in a situation where I was not able to go around and look for places. I was in the hospital because I had a fall and I lost my husband two months before that. I am very satisfied and happy in here. They have separate apartments. They have different kinds of buildings for different kind of needs. I live in the independent building. The only reason why I am here is that my husband passed away very suddenly. The staff is very good and very nice. They do a marvelous job. There does not seem to be any discord here.
