I can't say enough great things about Aegis of Redmond. My parents went there together about a year and half ago. They have a great 1 bedroom apartment, with a large deck overlooking the Sammamish River Trail. It's a beautiful room and the property is gorgeous! My Dad had Dementia and was able to stay living in the same apartment with my Mom, which was very important to us and other places did not offer that. The caregivers took wonderful care of my Dad and the activities were so wonderful that even he could participate. I actually have never seen him so happy and full of life in years. He had friends and fun and got to enjoy all of this with my Mom. After he passed, my Mom decided to stay and they have continued to take wonderful care of her. Jamie Wilcher, Marketing Director, calls me quite often to make sure my Mom is happy and if she can do anything else to help make her stay more enjoyable. Jackie Reindal, the Life Enrichment Director, continues to come up with amazing activities to keep the residents and my Mom active and using their smarts! Jim Grenfell, General Manager, is so caring about all the residents and will also reach out to me by email or phone to see how my Mom is feeling about her room, the food, activities, the care staff and if there is anything else he can improve on. Selma Milak, the Care Director, always makes sure that the residents are healthy and happy as well. Each member of the staff are so caring to all the residents and I have seen it first hand. Their response to Covid-19 has been amazing and they continue to have no cases. We are constantly updated on the measures they are taking to keep our loved ones safe and happy during this uncertain time. I feel so happy that my Mom and I found this place together. When I was able to be there with my Mom and Dad, I felt like they were my family and they have continued to make me and my Mom feel that way. I love them all!

This place is sad. This Aegis location was once a nice place with competent staff. Owners have been replaced as well as much of the staff. Most of the current staff does not care like they should, especially when this facility is one of the most expensive. This Aegis does not offer much of an atmosphere either and very little stimulation for a resident. Don't bring your loved one here. Lack of attention by the staff here had caused me to take my family member to the hospital. Following was a few different surgeries and months of rehabilitation before I relocated her. Be aware

Staff is very caring and the majority are very friendly. They have a variety of rooms to choose from depending on availability. Facility is small, more like a boutique hotel, so staff knows all of the residents. They offer numerous on-site and off-site activities. It's up to the residents to decide which ones they want to participate in.

The staff here has been outstanding over the last 3 years. Most that I have worked with are caring and compassionate individuals, my family is comforted knowing that our mother is in excellent hands.

Putting a parent in an Assisted Living community is a very difficult decision to make. The people at Aegis were good at listening and supporting my decision to move my mother there - she has dementia. The care is wonderful; they have daily exercise for whatever level the person is capable of, along with lots of activities available during the day for the people to join. There is a salon so they can have their hair cut. The staff also takes the people who are able out for lunch and for plays, and other activities. They celebrate everyone's birthdays, and have wonderful holiday brunches that family members can attend. The care team is always available for any questions I have, and they truly care for and about my mother. I feel like family each time I visit. I am so thankful for Aegis - I believe I made the best choice for my mother!

I met with the sales director of Aegis, and she was very nice. She explained what the facility was all about. I thought the residents seemed very happy. I liked it. It seemed like a nice place. They had a couple of dogs, and you can have your own animal if it is small. It seemed clean.

The Aegis borders the Sammamish River in a cranny just out of Redmonds sprawling downtown area.Plenty of parking, I noticed as I pulled into the lot. When I first walked in the front doors I noticed that it smelled nice. There was a long white reception desk, a sign in sheet and a hallway in either direction. After signing in, we walked down to the windowed recovery room.It was summer, but not too hot in the smallish quarters.sports droned on in the background as we talked about what they were feeding her here, what books she had been reading and the antics of her roommate, an old lady with an attitude. later we sat together in one of the buildings courtyards, lined neatly with Astroturf, lawn furniture and tiki torches.overall it seemed like a good place to land if you are in need of personal care. She is now long checked out and is fully mobile, thanks to the care she received.
