My mom was at Summer Hill for a while. They were very good. They had good food and good people working there. It was good overall. It was clean and well kept. They did things all the time like little Bible sessions, bingo, PT, and all kinds of things. They had a salon. They also have a physical therapist there for doing activities, and they would drive them around in their bus to go to different cities and see sites.

The staff at Summer Hill was great. They answered questions. I have a few concerns about whether or not they could keep up with the medical needs that my stepdad has, but I've been assured that that would not be a problem. They came across as very friendly and it's a very active place. I think my folks would be happy there, except they have a little dog, and I'm not sure that they would be able to get the little dog to and from outside. Most of the rooms are on the second story, but there's an elevator, so that's fine. Summer Hill accepts pets. We're looking at a one-bedroom, and they had them on the first floor. They had more common spaces and more activities than the other places.

I went to Summer Hill Assisted Living. I would say they're quite good. It seemed to be very pleasant and clean. They were all very pleasant and helpful. They had a pleasant dining room. They had quite a variety of activities like trips to go shopping or just to go for a drive, and they had Bingo and things like that available to the residents.

We really liked Summer Hill, and if it is possible for my mom to come here, we would come here. All of the apartments were spacious, and it was a beautiful facility. The staff was the best; they were just really about answering our questions and being a problem solver. They have all sorts of activities not just for their seniors. They have a support group for the residents who had memory issues.

I believe that my grandma had a pretty positive experience living in the summer hill facility. It was near the beach and she was still able to live a pretty active independant life but still have help if she needed it. She was also neighbors with one of her childhood friends. she was able to have a beautiful garden infront of her little condominium and was still able to drive around. She wasnt a big fan of one of the supervisors there though but she was a bit of a stubborn lady. I think it was a great place and I really enjoyed visiting her there.
