I am handicap and was informed I'm moving in to this place. On moving day they informed me that they don't accommodate persons in wheelchairs. This place is highly unprofessional and should be avoided.

As a hospital case manager looking to place someone in assisted living, I was thoroughly impressed with the professionalism, care and compassion of the director of nursing at Kadie G., Jenny P. Jenny rapidly facilitated a compassionate and concise transition from our rehab to their ALF. I was impressed with how attentive, interested and engaged Jenny was with the transfer process. I look forward to collaborative exchanges in the future. Thank you for setting the precedence of excellence in patient-centered, holistic care. Bravo!

My mother was in Kadie Glen until September of this year. The ratio of residents per caregiver was high, but they did well with my mother. The reason we had to move her was that she became more active, and they didn’t have enough people to keep an eye on her and keep her safe. She would get up on her own, then try to walk or get out of bed by herself. When we got her in, she was very docile, and all of a sudden, one day she woke up and said, "Oh, I can stand up and walk by myself." In short, she outgrew the place. There were other memory care places where they have a lockdown facility for dementia patients who may try to get out. Those were a little more formal. This one was more homey. When I first walked in, it was evening, and they had a fireplace going with the residents sitting around it. When you go to a memory care lock-in facility, you usually never see the people as they really are behind the doors. This place was warm and inviting. People were very friendly and always helpful, but she just outgrew it.

I visit my friend who lives at east Wenatchee assisted living and he really likes the caring staff. Now that spring is here we sit on the patio quite a bit and enjoy visiting with other neighbors. The staff is very professional, and the food is delicious. It's an older facility, but the new owners are making lots of improvements. I like the size and design of the building, and the units all have a kitchen and private bath with a patio on the lower level. I'd recommend this place.

I visited this facility and loved the gorgeous view of the entire valley ! The Administrator was very attentive to my questions, and showed me around. I had a cup of coffee and piece of pie in the dining room, and everyone seemed friendly. The facility is older, but I liked the smaller feel. Everything was freshly painted and the furniture was ok. Loved all the raised flower/vegetable beds that I could work in, or just sit on the patio and watch everyone else work ! All of the ground floor apartments have patios for flowers or chairs.

It seemed like a full service place. The only complaint that I had was that I would have to get rid of a lot of my things and put it in one room instead of an apartment. I don't know how much that would cost. I would miss a living room and I would have to figure out how to downsize everything. There was no living room and I would have to share a bathroom. There's a small area where the microwave is and a small refrigerator. This place didn't have stairs. On the other hand, I didn't have to worry about cooking since they provided the meals; there was also a small microwave available if I wanted to have a snack during the day. They have medical staff on site; so if something would happen to me I could get help immediately and I wouldn't have to wait for hours. They also would provide transportation to wherever I needed to go as well as field trips and outings.

This facility was horrible. I wouldn't send anybody to this place. When I came to visit, it was probably the time when they dispense medications. And there were people in different conditions laying around in the lobby waiting for medicines. It really gives you the feeling of a nursing home as opposed to an assisted living place. This was really rundown and I've seen a lot of wear and tear on the furniture. The room accommodations were not good and patients had to share a bathroom. And there's no way my stepmother is ever going to agree with that. I didn't get the feeling that the staff really cared that much.
