We toured Colonial Vista. It was a very clean, well-kept community. We had lunch there. It's a very good lunch. The lady gave us a tour of the whole place and showed us to several rooms. We could have stayed all night if we wanted to. We were impressed. If we decided to go to a place, we probably would choose that one.

My cousin and I went to Prestige Senior Living at Colonial Vista. The staff just checked all the boxes. They were very professional, and yet they were friendly. People who live there seem to be very comfortable. In addition to all of the above, they have several people who are over 100 years old. They wouldn't live to be over 100 years old if they were miserable if they didn't have good food or if they didn't have good care. They were very gracious and offered to let us try the food. And my cousin said it was good. So, everything about the food is very good. I just had a sandwich myself because I was very hungry, but she had the regular meal that they were offering. The sandwich was fine food. The bread was fresh. What they had on it, everything tasted fine, fresh, and clean. They have wonderful activities. That was the main reason that I had chosen that place for my cousin because they have so many amenities. They have everything from transportation to medical facilities, transportation to shopping if they want to do any shopping for groceries. They even take them when they have concerts nearby. It was just an incredible number of amenities.

I like the location of Prestige Senior Living at Colonial Vista. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. However, it was higher priced, and it was more rundown and not as updated. But the apartments were very nice, and the amenities were the same just as I had hoped. It was just a little bit more worn down and the high price. I saw a gym, a billiards room, a beauty shop, and a kitchen.

My husband will be moving into Prestige Senior Living at Colonial Vista. We chose it because of the friendliness of the people and their respect for the people they work with. I talked with several of the residents, and they were content and happy. The facility is nice and clean, and a lot of people work together very well. The staff was very open. If you interrupted them, that was perfectly fine. They were there to serve. The food smelled good. The hospital is very nearby, about less than a mile, and there are restaurants within a mile.

I was able to tour Prestige Senior Living at Colonial Vista. I thought their assisted living facilities were quite adequate. It's an older facility and so it's not as modern looking as the other ones, but it's still quite nice. The spaces are roomy and the grounds are good. The location's nice having a church across the street. The staff seemed really caring and kind of family-oriented too.

Prestige Senior Living at Colonial Vista is an older community. The gentleman who ran it sold it. It's very nice, but it's large, so you have to do a lot of walking. Their apartments for couples are larger and most of them have balconies, but they were decaying a little bit. So even though they have banisters, I could see my dad falling over. The huge cafeteria is decorated in old yellow and orange colors. It just seemed like you were going back to the 1960's or something. The people there are very nice, and they have someone watch the memory care residents every hour. It's just a little bit run-down, but it's not that bad. From what I saw, I thought their pricing was pretty fair. They add certain levels of care at certain points, like when they need help with things like bathing or showering, and that would cost a certain amount of money extra. One thing I like is once you get in, if you stay there for three years, they just take what Medicare pays after that. When I got there I made the mistake of going to the wrong place, but the guy who accommodated me was very nice and caring, and offered to walk me where I should go. The rooms were clean and had amenities like chairs, so you are able to sit down in the shower, and so on.

I’ve chosen Colonial Vista, and it’s working out fine. I like the accommodations on the fourth floor since I have a good view across the Columbia River to East Wenatchee. I haven’t joined in on too many activities yet, and I keep rather busy on the computer. The food is very good, delicious, very edible, and has a nice variety. I don’t turn back too many empty or partially full plates.

My husband is in Colonial Vista, and he has been there for seven months now. We are very happy with it, and they take very good care of him. They are just very good, and I am very pleased with them. They got a good staff, and they take excellent care of him. They have numerous buildings and he is in the Colonial Main. It is assisted living, but I think they go a little beyond it with their help. They have a lot of activities, and they do very good with dining and food. There is a lot of food and a lot of variety. I am happy where he is.

I visited Colonial Vista a few months ago, but I am very familiar with it because I was the family caretaker for someone who lived there for several years, and I went several times a day. The rooms were always kept clean. The girls that cared for her were very patient and very loving. I just have nothing but good things to say about that facility. If you need assisted living or nursing care, that is in the same facility, and that was very handy for the people. They would have musical groups, they would have church services, and they would have people that play cards. Everyday there were activities. I was there a lot, and I don’t have any complaints.

The facilities and amenities seemed to be a little outdated. The rooms were very bare with little "extras" to entertain residents. The halls seemed more to me of that of a doctor's office rather than a place for living. One thing that I did enjoy was that there was a communal gathering place for residents to come and listen to music and talk with other residents while eating dinner. The staff seemed very comforting and interested in the care of their residents. Whenever we had a question they were quick with an answer. Our grandma did not complain about the service she received from the staff at Colonial Vista. Another thing that we were pleased about was that the doctors were there routinely especially for care with our grandma. Overall, I feel that Colonial Vista is a good place and we felt at ease with the care that our grandma received while she was living at Colonial Vista.

When I first entered the facility I was greeted by staff, assisted in finding my grandmothers apartment and offered a bottled water. Inside the apartment it was very tidy and free of clutter, very clean (but grandma always kept her home clean anyway.) I was amazed at how individualized the amenities were, Grandma was excited to tell me she no longer had to cook her meals if she didn't want to as all three were served daily in the dining hall. She chooses what days maid service comes in, whether she wants them to do her laundry or if she'd rather do it (she says she lets them do all her laundry except her "unmentionables")Each room (living room, bedroom, bathroom and kitchenette) all have strategically placed call buttons should she need help. They have a privacy policy on phone calls where if you call the main desk they will not forward your call to the person, they instead take a message to them that you called, this is because if the resident wants to hear from you, they will most likely give the number to their direct line, harassment protection. They have an array of activities for those who want join in. Grandma was surprised that they would arrange transport for her church services and functions too.
