My Aunt choose to move to Spring Gardens on her own. We helped her move in and were pleasantly happy with the look of the facility. Her suite was roomy and comfortable and she settled in their well. The interactions with the other tenants was a little rough at first, but she soon found friends and was enjoying many of the activities and crafts they provided. She especially loved making the craft items, beads, and night light covers and playing a couple of the games they offered. We loved how they allowed for church services on Sunday and Relief Society meetings during the week. She loved most of the nursing staff and other employees there!

My father was treated horribly in memory care at Spring Gardens. Hell on earth. They would not let me leave the building with him until they had “broken him”, meaning until he had lost the want to leave. The staff was very cold. He had Alzheimer’s and was sent by ambulance alone and dropped off at a hospital alone and afraid, and Spring Gardens didn’t even contact me. A social worker at the hospital (not Spring Gardens) called to let me know he’d had a “fall” and that Spring Gardens did not want him to return. There were no bruises or injuries. When I contacted Spring Gardens I was given 3 different answers as to why he’d been sent to the hospital. One was because of a fall, another because he was being belligerent, and another because he had slumped over in his chair. It was extremely frustrating, heartbreaking, and devastating trying to find a new place for him to live last minute, and at the time there were very few options. Please look elsewhere if you care at all about your loved one’s wellbeing.

Outstanding Memory Care facility with caring, conscientious staff. They are always knowledgeable about my father’s status and even what he’s done on any given day. Logan (the Director) personally oversees weekly visits over technology with our family. My father enjoys activities that blend exercise with creativity. He loves doing crafts, puzzles, watching westerns and participating in unit parties.

We felt a certain spirit about Spring Gardens Senior Living when we first walked in. It was light and cheerful. Everybody was very kind and nice to us and gave us a complimentary meal, which was very good. There's something every day, like activities to help with mental abilities. I like the crafts and go to that every week. They have excursions, shopping once a week, temple trips, musical presentations, and movies. The kitchen here is open 12 hours. We're LDS and have church here every Sunday. It's the shape of an H and the legs are where the rooms are and the center is where the activities, the dining room, the front desk, and the lounge are. We get a lot of interactions with the residents here. It's in the middle of town and I like to walk and look at stores and buildings. I like being here. The shuttle will take us to any appointment at no extra charge. We're quite happy here.

I liked Spring Gardens Senior Living, but they did not have a memory care unit. The rooms were very nice, and everything was clean and beautiful. It's a pretty new place. They had a lot of groups that come to entertain the residents. They had a library, but they need to have more reading materials. The dining area was very nice, and the food was very good with a lot of choices.
