My mom is at CVAL and I’ve been familiar with the facility for years. I like the home-like feeling and the way it’s decorated. When I visit with my mom she is well cared for and gets plenty of attention. She sits with friends at meals and they look out for her. The CNAs sit and talk with her and other residents. My mom loves the scenic drives they go on and the activities.

I choose this facility because of the small family environment. My dad loved living here in the 2 years he was alive. The staff was attentive to his needs. They showed him and the other residents love and kindness. They have allot of fun field trips and monthly parties that the whole family is invited to attend. The food is good and myself and children could come in and share a meal with him. They took care of the laundry and haircuts which was a plus. Lds church ward is great there!

What ever you do don't take your loved one to this place. I visited there and found it to be smelling like dirty, dirty, laundry, patients left alone asking for help, no-one around to assist them. I seen patients literally so drugged, they were spaced put that they could not sit still long enough to eat. I see patients sitting at dinner table trying to eat and no-one there to help them.I went with someone to just look around with out a personal person to escort me n talk about the place. I seen things that people should never be left alone in. I heard patients crying for help in rooms. No-one around to help them. This is not a place to put any person for any sort of assisted living/ memory care.

Building has been remolded and looks nicer than the old building. Staff is nice, and it looks like it has a good menu.
