My relatives moved into Legacy House of Logan. It was good. Our favorite thing is the people that are working there. They're our main reason for choosing Legacy versus somewhere else. The activities are good. They do a good job with their food there. The chef is very good at his job.

My parents moved into Legacy House of Logan. My brother and I toured a couple of places and when we went on a tour here, the individual that toured us was very knowledgeable, very friendly, talked to all the residents, and very personable. It was a great tour. She even was able to switch around some rooms for us, so that my parents had a better view. I just feel like they went above and beyond. It was a quick turnaround. We put down the community fee on a Thursday and my parents moved in the next Tuesday. They got all the paperwork done and everything. She knew everything I was asking. She's the executive director there. The person that does the tours was on vacation, so the ED took the time out to give us the tour and she's just super friendly and didn't seem bothered by all my questions and bugging her. I also met the nurse, Erin, and she's phenomenal. I moved my parents in there because I felt good about it, but after working with Erin for a couple of weeks before I left and came back to Virginia, I just have a really good feeling. I knew my parents were going to be taken care of, health-wise, and all of that kind of stuff. Erin would communicate with me, ask questions, about what did I think, and when she would talk with my parents, she would get down on their level and talk to them. She wouldn't just stand there and talk down to them or anything. You can tell that she's a very caring person. We've been communicating back and forth since I left. That was my experience with all of the care managers there. They're very friendly. They come in to give my parents their medication and say, "How are you doing?" "Is there anything we can get you?" It wasn't just, here's your medication and bye. They would visit a little bit, not for too long, but just make sure there wasn't anything else that they needed. It felt very clean. I'm happy with it. I'm happy with the people there. If I have questions, I get an answer within an hour if I'm not able to talk to them right then. The only negative thing I would say is that the food isn't that good. It's kind of like cafeteria food and it's different from what my parents are used to. They have things to keep them busy. It's a great place. It gives me and my sibling's peace of mind that they're being taken care of. I appreciate everybody that worked so hard to get my parents in there.

I'm the legally appointed personal representative of my dear mother's estate. This review is made with that legal authority. My mom was put in this facility by her estranged offspring in 2018. She was taken from her care facility in Maryland. She was sick with Alzheimer's. Estranged family improperly took my mother to Utah and put her in this facility. All communications were stopped by this facility from me to my mother, with no legal basis. I placed a welfare check call to the local police department after my mother called me crying, scared, and not sure where she was. I've received the police report. It reflects law enforcement contact was stopped by an employee at the facility. An employee dissuaded law enforcement from speaking with my mother, the victim, under a valid welfare check call. As a direct result my mother was isolated and alone. The facility records reflect that she suffered while a resident and died in 2019. I subpoenaed the facility records for the probate matter. Prescribed meds were not dispensed due to machine error, my mom was found drinking from a moldy coffee cup, she fell multiple times breaking her femur and then she was found stuck between her bed and nightstand. I'm filing a formal complaint against this facility based on the official records I've received. Signed, Personal Representative and Loving Daughter

Legacy House of Logan was a good place. The tour was informative. The staff took me into different apartments and showed me what was available. She took me to the cafeteria and how that works. She talked to me about pricing and answered any questions I had. The room seemed nice. I liked the fact that they have walk-in showers and had a call stringed in the bathroom. So if there is a problem there, they could call somebody. They were concise. When they have somebody move out, they go through and redo most of it for the next person that comes in. So it's fresh and new. They had one garden area. The staff was well educated in the situations and what was happening there.

The Legacy House in Logan was a wonderful place. This particular one is high on our list for when we would need to go to a facility because they have all the care that we require. We visited it twice. They can give you care from independent to end-of-life care, regardless of the situation. They had everything, and it's all clean. Both those who showed us around and the facility itself were as good as the others we have seen. The only thing is that it's not quite as open and as large as the others, but it had every benefit that we would need to function well there. On the cost side, it was less expensive than the one we saw that is newer and more open.

The facilities were very clean, with a nice warm, comfortable feeling, furnished nicely and the layout was not too confusing. The staff was knowledgeable, helpful and polite. We are looking for a care facility for my husband's father. We were only there for a couple of hours so we don't know a whole lot about the activities. They did show us a calendar with the activities on it and they looked to be very nice and a wide range of choices. They served us the lunch of the day and it was delicious. We were not surprised to learn they have a bit of a waiting list for patients, so we put his name on the list.

My mom was hospitalized soon after she moved in to Legacy House of Logan. Their staff members are wonderful, they sent flowers over to my mom and helped take care of her cat. They have been super kind and helpful. She has her own bedroom with a little living room and kitchenette. They have Legacy walkers, there's a couple of courtyard and people would come in to play music or they would play cards. The value or pricing is good.

I have had no problems with Legacy House of Logan. They are quick to answer and the nurse is just as good. We've had conferences with them and they keep us informed. They give their meds to my parents and my dad sometimes has to have showers given to him. They have a lot of activities planned for them. If they need to get something from the grocery store, they have a bus that will take them. They are in a small 1-bedroom because they do not have 2-bedrooms at that time. The majority of the staff is good. There was a little bit of a problem with my mom on one of the staff members, but that got resolved. They had a get-together and they had lasagna, which was the best I ever had. They give you manicures and pedicures, they have bingo, you can get a haircut, and they have games and movies. They take good care of their people. The facilities are very nice. They go on outings, too. It's the least expensive out of the places I've checked.

Our experience with Legacy House was very average. The facility is clean. The food is not particularly good. Overall, this facility is a good choice for a relative that is largely self sufficient. If they need assistance to eat, dress, toilette, etc - there are better choices. The staff consists of mostly college students, they are not well trained. They are kind enough, but not responsive and generally have the attitude of putting their time in. If you have a relative that needs memory care finding the right facility is the most difficult decision you will ever make. They are dependent on you to find a place that will advocate for them and care for them in your place. Our family struggled to find the right place. Legacy was not a good fit for us, but mostly because round the clock care and attention was needed.

Legacy House of Logan was very clean, very bright, and very open. There were many CNAs available. Anywhere you looked, there was help available. They have well-organized activities. What my parents did not like were the room sizes. You could not fit a queen bed in the bedroom. If you were able to get a queen bed in there, you wouldn't be able to walk around it. The closet had five feet total of hanging space. The staff was very friendly, knowledgeable, helpful, kind, and concerned.

Legacy House of Logan looked good and seemed big. The staff was helpful and the dining area looked fine. They have single rooms with a bathroom. They have a salon and an exercise room. I was satisfied with the tour.

My experience with Legacy has not been as positive as the others. The food is bad 80% of the time, the response to when my parent needs help is extremely slow. If I need to contact someone after 5, it's impossible to talk to anyone. For what the cost is for my parent to stay here, I expect better quality care

I was impressed with what Legacy House had for the seniors and the friendliness of the environment. It was very helpful to know that there was something out there when the time had arrived. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The dining area looked nice.

Legacy House is such a beautiful facility. It is comfortable, and it has a certain level of elegance without being over the top. The people -- the staff and the residents -- are just friendly, wonderful people. The dining area is lovely. They are served like they are in a restaurant. My mother-in-law says that if there is one thing that she doesn't really care for, it is the food, but I ate there with her tonight, and I thought it was fine, so it is hard to say.

The Legacy House was probably twice the size of the other one we visited. I thought it was assisted living, but it had more care. It was like their little home away from home. The hospitals were very close, which was probably a couple blocks away. There was grocery store across the street. There were also restaurants. The staff was very happy, cheerful, helpful and interested in their residents. I would recommend it to others.

My visit was great at Legacy House of Logan. They were very wonderful. We had lunch there, and my parents really enjoyed it. It was very small, cozy, clean, and nice, and it didn't seem like a hospital at all. They do have activities, which they told us about. They take them places. They have a nurse on duty all the time that checks on them.

Feels like home. Walking in the front desk is clean and clutter free the receptionist is kind and welcomes you. Soon you see guests there at big tables talking with other guests and smiling. They organize religious services and are happy to help all attend. The feeling is happy there. The Altimzers unit has nurses and cna that are kind and patient and most of all understanding. When I have gone to sing and visit with those living there I first noticed the difference at this facility how clean and new it was and kept up. There were swinging seats one could sit outside and enjoy the nice weather. The lighting was fresh and felt natural. Which make a huge impact on one that stays inside most of their days. They had pictures of all of their staff and knew who was caring and assisting those that living in Legacy House

I found that it is a very nice facility. However, I really don't like working or visiting or really having anything to do with Nursing homes. I find it depressing. So I suppose that is a bonus of this house, is it is simply Assisted Living, so most of these people can take care of themselves for the most part still. Also, from the outside, this facility looks like a high-class apartment building, or 4 to 5-star hotel. The inside matches. Its beautiful. I didn't associate with the employees very much but from what I saw, they do a magnificent job! I would highly recommend this home for those who may need it. The community inside and outside is hard to beat. Logan is a beautiful place, and the views from some of those higher floor rooms are spectacular. They make it feel like home! For a facility, it sure didn't feel like one.
