My dad moved into Beehive Homes of Payson at the end of October. It's a wonderful place. The owner is kind, loving, gentle, and very knowledgeable on senior and VA issues. He owns several homes and helped us choose the right home for my dad's needs. My dad is a veteran so the owner recommended us a home with the most number of veteran males. They take him on field trips. The caregivers are wonderful, professional, loving and nurturing. They went on a tour of Christmas lights, and last October, they did a hay wagon ride in a farm and pumpkin patch. They take him shopping, do physical therapy, and have churches come in. They also have the ability to take them to the church of their choice. My dad is very satisfied with the food. The place is very clean and very easy to navigate. The grounds are beautiful and fenced, so the residents can't get lost.

I went to the Beehive Homes of Payson. They really work hard, and they try to keep the patients very happy. Considering the fact that they have Alzheimer's and dementia, it's hard to keep them happy. The rooms were small, a lot of them had to share a bathroom. They have volunteers come in and help. They play games, bingo, and they just love bingo. They talk with them and try to reorient them to where they're at, and what's going on, and that kind of stuff. The dining area, very small, clean, though very small. The surroundings outside were great. It was in a residential area. It was clean, it didn't smell, they tried hard to keep it clean and manageable. The staff did the cooking, they didn't have anybody to come in and cook.

Beehive Homes of Payson was a small cozy place. The administrator was a fantastic gentleman. They go out and they do things inside the facility. The staff was nice and cordial. The room was typical with a TV, bed, and a private bathroom.

We toured the assisted living of Beehive Homes of Payson. The general appearance of the place is great. It's very nice. The staff member who helped me during the visit was overly kind and helped us out quite a bit. He showed us what we needed to see and told us everything we needed to know, so he was good. The dining room looked fine. We ate a regular lunch there and it was fine. They also have different things you can get once a month. The rooms looked spacious for what you get, and for the price. My first impression when I stepped inside was that I liked it a lot.

Beehive Homes of Payson was very good. They didn't have the securest facilities for memory care. The rooms were very nice and good, and the staff was really good. They had nice, different rooms of different sizes.

We visited Beehive Homes of Payson. The rooms were small, but they had private rooms available, which gave the residents plenty of room. It's pretty typical but a little larger than other facilities. The staff was very friendly. They had group activities all the time. The dining area was home-style where everyone sat at the tables and talked to everybody around the table. It's real small and homey. They didn't have locked doors, but they had a band that locks the doors if they got close to them, so they couldn't run away. The staff was very caring and very friendly. I really liked the fact that they had only a few patients and they all interacted together in their small social area. They could go outside and garden if they wanted.

I like the location, the looks, the people of Beehive Homes, the size of the rooms, and the price. The food is probably the worst thing I’ve seen there, and the activities are not enough. They have bingo, guitar players come in, and a spa day occasionally. My mother has been there for about five or six weeks, and they haven’t done an outing yet. The staff has been really good. They just got a new owner, and I think they’re making improvements.
Provider Response
Thank you for the feed back. We really do love our residents and hope you feel and know that. I eat in the home often and believe the food has improved, and can improve even more. I have recently employed an Activities director and we are usually very busy doing fun things--as the weather improves we will be going on outings much more....thanks for supporting us! Dont hesitate to let me know where we can improve.

The staff was very professional and worked well with the individuals staying there. I felt that the rooms and overall upkeep of the building was very well done. Individuals were kept on their schedules and the residents felt like they were quite content. Kind of funny, but all they play is the "Virginian", and old spaghetti westerns on the TV which is fun sometimes but sometimes I wonder if they all really do love those westerns. This residence is also houses male and female individuals which seemed to work fine from what I saw.
