This place is under staffed, the patients have no phones in their rooms. Everyone was to busy to help get our mom on the phone before she died. They also had her cleaning her own room, she has Alzheimer’s her pillow case was so dirty I had to throw it away. Piles of laundry, dirty underwear on the floor, the halls smell of pee, the food was terrible. The owners are clearly just in this for the money with no concern of human life.

I visited Lake Ridge Senior Living. It was clean and orderly, and everything looked fine to me. The room is very nice and clean. They have outings and stuff that they do once a week for the people that stay there. The staff knows what they are doing and knows very well. I chose Lake Ridge Senior Living because of the price and close to my work.

We went to Lake Ridge Senior Living. We had a miscommunication with the person who was supposed to give us the tour. I was not able to answer the phone to confirm the tour, so he left a message, and I didn't call back. So, there was a mistake. It was partly my fault because I didn't tell him we were coming. So I didn't meet the man who's the sales rep, and the person who was there wasn't expecting us. The place was smelly, not well organized, and rundown. The staff was not friendly. It didn't go well as far. The rooms were very small. Mom wouldn't have enjoyed it at all. She just wouldn't be happy there. They didn't have any assisted living available, so the staff showed us the memory care unit, and that place was very stinky.

I toured Lake Ridge Senior Living. The staff seemed really nice and very capable, but the facility seemed stark. It seemed dirty to me. The rooms did not seem very nice. They're very rundown. I did not see any activities taking place, and mostly the residents were sitting in their rooms. The common area was not very inviting, and I would have called it dirty. The person who accommodated me there was great. They really need to clean their place up. It doesn't look too bad from the outside, but as soon as you walk in the door it seems small, dark, and kind of institutional almost.

I think Lake Ridge is fine for assisted living but for memory care they fall short. Memory care patients require a higher level of care than can be provided at this facility. They have a high staff turnover and not enough staff allocated to serve the number of residents. They have a great cook, a great housekeeper, the administrative staff and CNA’s are friendly and helpful.

I didn't like Lake Ridge Senior Living. It didn't look well-maintained. The staff who assisted me with the tour was good. They didn't have a whole lot to offer. I only saw a dining area. This facility was located close to the city, so it was near a college, and a hospital, but not too many restaurants.

I toured Lake Ridge Senior Living. I worked with their marketing person, and he was very helpful and very good. He connected me with a caseworker at one of the hospitals to help some more and get some more information, and that was very nice. They were very helpful in that way. They were also very helpful in giving tours. The facility itself was old, and the rooms were small, but they had private bathrooms. They seemed to have a low staffing ratio than I wanted. I met a housekeeper there, and she was very pleasant and very helpful. Their common area was small. One thing that was negative there was when we went into the grounds, they were covered in cigarette butts. The common dining area was very much the central part of the facility. It was clean, which I think was nice. It was cafeteria style. Their grounds were more like a backyard than a courtyard. It kind of wrapped around the building. They had salon services. It's not a salon itself, but they would do it in the common area, and that was the only real amenity that I noticed.

We're going to use Lake Ridge Senior Living for Mom. We looked at the assisted living with memory care. The one who took us around was excellent. He answered all of our questions and showed us the facilities and the rooms that were available. The place was clean and smelled good, and it was roomy. We really liked it. It seemed to be well cared for. The two people I talked to were very good and helpful.

Lake Ridge Senior Living was quiet and peaceful. The staff was very sweet, helpful, and answered all my questions, and just was very nice. They genuinely really care about the people there. I looked at their menu, but I didn't try any of the food. The dining area was just very small, plain, and simple. The rooms were roomy. I was pleasantly surprised at how much space they had. There's no kitchenette. They have their own bathroom with a sink and a toilet, but the shower is shared. It needs some renovation. It's an older building. They were going to be doing renovations, but it seems like it was kept up for what it is.

I went to Lake Ridge Senior Living. It didn't feel good walking in, and I was really turned off that they didn't have individual bathrooms for the residents. They have one bathroom down the hall for all the residents. It really bothered me. It was old and it could use some renovations. The rooms were small. The dining room looked crowded. They had some activities going on, but it didn't seem like there was ample space.

Lake Ridge is a lovely community and the people are very caring and patient. My mom has everything she needs and they make sure she comes down to meals. The only thing that we could possibly complain about is the noise at night because the aides tend to be chatty and my mom's hearing is just fine, so she complains about the noise level. Other than that, it really is a wonderful community. The rooms are good and my mom has the biggest one they have. It has four windows, two to the outside, and two into the foyer, so there's lots of light. It was also the only one with its own shower, which was really nice since it was important for my mother. The food wasn't great, but it was pretty good, and my mom hasn't complained about it. They have a lady there who cuts hair, and there are gobs of activities, which is a really good thing. The staff is really nice and we don't have any issues with them at all. I think it's great value for the money because it's not as expensive as other places, but it's almost as good.

I didn't feel comfortable at Lake Ridge. The room seemed a bit smaller, and they didn't have an area to walk around. The staff was very nice. They had games and people who come in to do little concerts.

My father has been at Lake Ridge for two months. He is able to have his cat there. We liked the price of the place. There’s pros and cons about it, though. They are taking good care of him, and it’s the best place for everything that’s included in that price. It’s a pretty place, just not new. He has to shower down the hall, and he would rather have his shower in his room and a kitchenette, but it’s down the hall and they bring his meals to him in the room. Lake Ridge makes sure that his Medicare benefits are covered. He has a person that comes in and works with his balance three times a week. They have been on top of everything. They have a nurse and take him to his doctor and make sure he's on the right medications.

It's been close to a year since I helped mom move into Lake Ridge and so far it has been a great experience. They have lots of activities, outings, and great food. We were worried at first because of how non-social she is but she has made some great friends, and we have been able to visit her even more than before when she was in her own home and didn't feel like having company very often. I just want to thank the wonderful staff that continues to look after my mom and her well being, you guys truly have made our lives much better!

I am a resident of LakeRidge Senior Living. This, quite simply, is my home. The staff does everything they can to make it a comfortable one. Scott and Amy always make me feel like I am the most important person here and my happiness is most important to them. LunAnn plans great activities for us and is so patient and fun loving. I would recommend it highly!

I've got to tell ya, love this place. I've had mom in a couple of different places here in Orem over the last decade, she loves it here the most. The staff is the difference. These guys aren't just here to punch in and get their hours, they have helped us with the move, getting her TV mounted to the wall, fixed her personal recliner ( a repair guy at RC Willy would have charged $100!) and have taken special note on things that she likes to do like Puzzles and old Bob Hope movies and modeled some activities after her likes. I've seen some of the reviews on here, yeah it's an older facility, but from what I've seen they keep up on all repairs. Thanks Scott, Amy and LuAnn, you have made my mom a great home here.

There was one called Lake Ridge that I visited. They’re very accommodating and friendly. They showed us the different things they offer. It’s pretty good. The rooms were an OK size. They just had one resident move out. They hadn’t cleaned the room yet, and the carpet was really bad. They said that the lady had just moved out the day before and they hadn’t had the chance to get in there and paint it or clean it.

Lake Ridge is wonderful in terms of residents' engagement, and the people there seemed to be very happy, but the location is not great. It's in a busy residential/industrial area. It's an older facility that they're remodeling and kind of working on as they go. The rooms aren't as nice, and they're small, but it's a lower price. It meets the needs of a different market as well. There's a building for gatherings, games, exercise and such. The eating area was smaller, but it seemed clean and well-kept.

Excellent care from staff. They treated my friend like family. Great attention by administration. They really care about their residents. No one is just a number there. I really trust them and would refer another friend there.

Lakeridge was very good. The only problem that I had with them is they put her right in Memory Care to start with, while most places don’t do that. The staff seemed good, helpful, and knowledgeable. It seemed to me that they’re not quite as experienced with dementia patients, but the facility itself and all the people that work there seem to be willing to help. I thought they were great. The rooms weren’t quite as big, but they were a pretty good size, and they were willing to work with you in as far as which room you need and make that accommodation, so I really liked that. I did eat there, and I was quite impressed with the quality of the food. What really stood out to me was that they had a nurse area right next to where the activities take place, so if there’s any issues, they’re right on it. The nurses’ station and the prescription station is close to everyone.

Lakeridge was nice. It was clean, and the people were nice. The rooms had a bathroom, but no kitchenette, and it was OK. When I visited, this one kind of had funny smells.

I visited a facility that I did not like. It is called Lake Ridge. It looked a little nice until I went to the rooms. The rooms were very small, and they were more like hospital setting. They have a restroom in their rooms, but they have to shower down the hall. However, the food looked good, the security was fine, and the people were very nice.

The rooms of Lake Ridge Senior Living were very, very nice, and you supply your own bedroom furniture, so that you will feel at home, and they only have bathrooms with a toilet and a sink. But their showers were like at the end of the hall. They also have an in-house doctor and they work with the pharmacies and stuff, so that the family does not have to worry about finding the medications and stuff that they take. They also have a nurse and CNA's on call all the time. They have good CNA's, nurses, and faculties that were very caring and accommodating to the residents. Everyone knew where they were going because they make sure that no one's getting lost or wondering what is going on next and there is always someone there to help them.

While visiting this facility, I stopped and talked to many of the residents, who were all very friendly and eager to make a new friend"”that's one thing about this facility, all the residents seemed very social"”anyway, they stopped and told me how much they loved this facility. I didn't hear one negative thing. A common theme, though, was how at this facility they get all the benefits of a home living without any of the negative effects. Most referred to the cooking and cleaning. The residents were happy to part with that part of their lives. They could eat well and not have to worry about it unless they wanted to. That, and they loved the socializing. They're like social butterflies in that facility. It's fantastic.
