I had never been to Welcome Home before my Grandma moved in. When I went to visit her I was very impressed with the cleanliness and look of the place. It was close to dinner time when I went to see her, the staff was so friendly and offered me dinner as well. It was very good and they tried to meet different requests of all the residents.

The people that I worked with at Welcome Home Assisted Living were smart ones. They took me on the tour and they just seemed friendly. There seems to be a personal touch that I liked about it. It's smaller and not quite full. So, this one is a little bit more individualized. I thought the dining room was very nice and very inviting, too. I liked the larger room better than the smaller room and the fact they have a beauty place where you could get your hair done right there in the facility, which is nice.

Very impressed with this facility. I have been to countless facilities in Utah and visited Welcome Home after getting multiple recommendations to move my Grandpa here. Unfortunately, my Grandpa passed away before he could move in. However, I have toured the facility many times and all of the following things were A+ in my book: - Amazing Administrator and ownership - cleanliness of facilities - amenities - Staff (friendly, responsive, always putting residents first) - services and care - Food - Quality of rooms

After doing a lot of research into different facilities for my parents, I just felt that welcome home was the best overall package. I thought the atmosphere was happy and cozy. I felt that the price was very reasonable for all of the services provided. We have always had pleasant experiences with the owners and staff. Simply put, If I had to do it all over again I would definitely still go with welcome home.

Although my sister was at Welcome Home for only three weeks before she passed away, I could tell that the care-giving staff were kind and compassionate. Most of my concerns are related to the administrator, who did not communicate my sister's critical needs to the staff - she was not allowed to have any solid foods due to risk of aspirating into her lungs. However, the first two meals she was served included solid foods. In addition, the administrator was not responsive to questions or concerns. She was very cordial and agreeable in person but did not follow up to ensure questions / issues were addressed. My sister waited three days for an important medication change because the administrator was on vacation and hadn't established a back-up process for prescription changes. The room was adequate but the thermostat was not adjustable, as indicated on the website. It took almost a week to get an adjustment made to the "block" thermostat, and, at my suggestion, increasing the airflow into the room. I was never given a fully-executed copy of our contract, and I am still waiting for a response to multiple inquiries as to when the refund will be issued for the days we paid for but were not used due to my sister's passing. There is a check-in sheet for visitors to sign and note their temperatures. Unfortunately, the thermometer was frequently missing or broken. Before you move your loved one to this facility, ask about the response time for residents who must use the "call" button. The staffing levels don't allow for timely responses, which is very challenging if your loved one is bedridden and/or quite ill. My sister was on hospice, so her level of care needed to be a bit higher than other residents. Welcome Home was not up to the task.

My mom stayed in Welcome Home. It was very nice and small. All of the people that worked there had a personal relationship with my mom, gave her hugs, and expressed their love for her frequently. It was really very good and very reasonably priced. I would highly recommend Welcome Home. It was set up well for people who could not get around very well. They had assistance for everybody to the dining room, social room, and so forth. They had lots of activities, so it was very good.

My mother has used Welcome Home. That has been my favorite place of all. It is a small 2-building facility. I love the staff -- especially the administrator -- and they have a chef that cooks the meal. My mother loves the food. She raves about it. Even in her memory loss stage, she doesn’t hesitate to go there. I have used them for respite a few times in the past, and that’s my favorite place. Unfortunately, it doesn’t have skilled nursing, so I can’t take my mother for hospice. I always see them doing crafts and puzzles, and they have people come in and singing with them. I have been impressed with their activities and just with the whole facility. They do have different types of rooms. They even bring in your own furniture in there. They have them furnished and there’s lovely wood furniture. They have paintings on the walls throughout the building, nice big oil paintings, and it has a wonderful feel about it. It feels more homely; it doesn’t feel hospital-like. The rooms aren’t that big, but they have a big family room area with the dining room and the kitchen right there together. They sit around the table together, and the chef will ask them personally how they like their eggs that day or what they would like to have for breakfast. It is just a lovely atmosphere. From the staff that I have met when I dropped her off, they have been very helpful and very courteous. I usually met the CNAs and the aides, and they seem to get along. I just have a good feel there.

My mom is at Welcome Home, and we are very happy. They have been wonderful. Everything from the staff, service, to the food is great. It’s also a comfortable place.

One of the single best things I've ever seen at an assisted living facility was when I came to visit Welcome Home Assisted Living and found the residents busy working away at putting together puzzles. It was the picture of perfect content. It was raining outside, but these residents were all curled up doing what they seem to love best. Once in a while they'd draw in a staff member to help them. They even managed to get me to sit down and help put together a puzzle, which is extremely addicting, I might add. I totally see why they do it. It's a way to involve the intellect when sometimes the body is not quite so willing. The residents seemed satisfied and happy and I would recommend this facility to anyone.

What ever you do, dont take your loved ones to this facility. The Owners and managers all lie to you. We were told that there would always be 2 CNA's per building but shortly after moving in, we realized that there was only ever 1 and they were taking care of everyone in the building. They are worked too hard that the care they give is not quality. The Owner and managers should be looked at closer by the Health Dept too. We had one who came in as Housekeeping and without licensing or even training was placed to work as a CNA. They lie to pass the state inspections. Dont fall for this scam. Looks are deceiving. The bigscreen tv's and light music is a trap to get you to move in. DONT DO IT.

My grandma loves this place. It was hard for her to leave her own little apartment and friends, but she just could not live alone anymore. She loves the atmosphere, the staff and has many new friends. The on site staff, cooks and overall living arrangments has been a blessing to the entire family. We feel she is in the best hands possible, while still maintaining her freedom. Thanks for all you do.
