I have moved into Stone Brook Seniors Community. It is very quiet. Very nice people. The staff and location were great. They're great people. They jump on everything. They have bingo. They have swimming. They have church on Sunday. They even have a little barbershop. They have a pool table. They have a huge dining area. They also have weights and stuff. It's pretty much an open area and on each floor, you can see that the common area is clean. It's a little pricey, but it's nice.

We have lived here for 40 months. In the beginning it was great but then a new manager was brought in that did not manage things. Now we are sick of the drama going on between residents with police intervention and people stealing chairs, rockers, decorations at the residents doors, and filthy hallways. We love our head maintenance person. He gets right on things. He has a lot of empathy for the residents. We have new management but it's not better. The greatest thing about living here is our wonderful friends. Do not move here. We are moving next year and many of our friends are moving because of what I have mentioned. Just can't stand incompetent mgmt anymore. The mgmt Co. Is Allied Orion and it has a 2 star rating.

I visited Stone Brook Seniors Community. They were not engaging, we showed up for the tour and inquiry, and they were not really available to help us, or to walk us around. We were given some excuse about the keys not being available even though we called in advance. When we showed up with my mother-in-law, they were not ready to receive us. The prices were awfully high for what they were offering, they werent really able to offer us any kind of program or anything to work with us on cost, and since she doesnt qualify for Medicaid, there wasnt much they could do for us. I think they cater to people that fall within that bracket of Medicaid coverage. It looked nice, it looked clean, but it didnt look like anyone would be very available to assist the residents.

We got a two-bedroon with one-bath room apartment here in Stone Brook Senior Community that we are very pleased with. It is such a nice place. The manager and the assistant manager are adorable people. The staff is great. The maintenance man is always delightful and has a smile on his face all the time. We have water boating, various games, bingo twice a week and there's a poker and billiard club here too. We dine out and there's transportation available if you need it to go to the grocery store or your doctor's appointment. It's perfect for us right now and we are just enjoying it a great deal.
