This review is written by an actual resident. We recently moved to the Towers and cannot say enough nice things about the Towers. The food is excellent, the staff is extremely friendly and competent, and the residents are extraordinarily friendly. There are some staffing shortage issues but management is diligently working to fill positions. We are extremely impressed with common area cleanliness, the availability of numerous activities both on campus and off, plus assorted amenities. The building is very well built. We believe moving to the towers is one of the best decisions we have ever made.

I'm moving into The Towers on Park Lane today. The tour was very superb. It was wonderful. They did everything. They showed us everything. They took plenty of time. I get an 1100-square foot, two-bedroom-two bathroom, a full-sized kitchen, and a dining area room. It's just glassed all the way around. I have two air conditioners. All of the utilities are included like the cable, water, house cleaning, and the rest of that. The only thing that isn't included is electricity, but they say it will never run over $100 a month. Veronica gave us a wonderful tour like we were the only people in the world. Meals are subsidized but they have two restaurants. There's a mail room, a full-sized indoor Olympic-sized pool, and a gym. The dining room is a white glove-type place with white tablecloths and waiters. You can't get in unless you have a shirt with a collar and long pants. They're trying to keep up standards in one of their places here. You have a menu just like if you go over to a big restaurant. You can choose from whatever you like, and they cook it to order. I have tried their food, and it is delicious. For activities, every day they have swimming classes, exercise classes, and line dancing classes. The place has a full-sized theater and a library. It's just got about everything. I think it's worth every penny. You can't be a poor person and live here.

I have first hand experience with family members living independently, in two different apartments over the last 5 years. Top to bottom the Tower Staff are the saints that walk among us. These people are professional, caring and patient: Maintenance, Security, Front Desk, Sales Team, Food Service, Housekeeping, Landscaping. I have had confidence in their professionalism and service. My family members are very social and very much enjoy the communal aspect of living at the Tower. There are multiple dining options available, whether from the dining room, cafe or cooking in your own kitchen. The sales team can accurately and knowledgeably guide you through the many types of available properties to help you find the best fit for your family. I find this to be the best that San Antonio has to offer.

Do NOT consider this place to be luxurious or at all worth the price of living. Food is horrible, water shut offs are constant and last 4-6 hours. Activities are limited. Employees are unhappy. Little to no insulation in units. Constant plumbing issues. Residents are miserable. 0/5 stars.

Towers has really gone down. Emphasis is on making money not offering good services to the residents. Not a very happy place to live

This is a Cooperative building. is a good place to live but the apartment is likely to lose value over the time you are not living there and be very expensive if you're not living in it and want to sell it. The HOA is between $1300 and $1700 a month and taxes about $3000 to $4000 a year. The place is run by the residents and therefore run well. The realtors that you have to use are at the property, but ate not very professional. They provided me wrong information and did it seem very confident of any information about the property, but you do get significant materials. It has many pluses and seem to have a low, but sufficient maintenance fund. It is an aging building and have less facilities than newer senior homes. If you are looking for a place to live this is not a bad place, but realize when you leave you will likely lose money on your investment. It us poor value for money...unless you live there and wish to end investment when you die.

We've been living at The Towers on Park Lane for 27 years. It used to be independent living, but because of Fair Act, now anybody can come in. It's an old retirement home and a condominium for seniors. It's been a very favorable experience. We have extremely fine management, a lot of good activities, and help that our concierge takes care of. It's a very complete way of living and very reasonable as well. We have a fitness center, pool with classes, library, DVD center with lots of movies and books, and a craft shop. You can either cook, eat in the dining room, or call the deli where you order and they bring it out to you. The dining room is more formal than the deli, and you can order off the menu in both places. We have a wonderful kitchen, so we can cook if we want. We have lots of wheelchairs and scooters and walkers. We have residents that are over 100 years old. For the cost and all the amenities, I don't think that you should be anywhere else.

The towers is a great place to have your elderly relatives stay at. They have wonderful amenities such as a pool which my great grand mother loved. She would actually swim and do water aerobics in the morning. Within a month of starting the exercises she looked and felt a hundred times better. The food there is also very good. They offer lots of fresh fruits and vegetables to go along with a well balanced diet. Furthermore their staff is wonderful and always very helpful whenever me or my great grandmother needed anything. They would always do all the dirty work with a smile and never heard one complaint from my great grandmother. She also made some new friends at the social nights they held at the towers. Not just your typical bingo nights either, but dances and outdoor activities as well. The towers kept her happy during the twilight years of her life and I will always appreciate them for that.

We went to check out the Towers on Park Lane assisted living facility while looking at places to consider for our aunt. It is a lovely, full-service senior high rise building with many luxury style amenities. The views of downtown San Antonio and its surrounding areas are gorgeous. Residences are offered from one to three bedrooms with several different floor plans. All of the apartments we saw were extraordinary -- with beautiful furnishings, great views and designed for ease, comfort and style. The full range of activities offered rival resort style living, from spa visits to exercise and culturally stimulating activities. The seniors at this facility have access to everything that anyone else may experience in the region, which is probably how they manage to stay vibrant, youthful and healthy. The dining areas were lively, bright and beautiful. The food looked deliciously and meticulously prepared - like meals you would find in a 5 star restaurant. The chef takes the time to find out what his clients like - and responds accordingly. They can also whip up whatever you like. The snacks are offered regularly and are readily available. The overall living environment of this retirement and assisted living community is interactive in the respect that each resident gets to participate in the process of managing the facility. The staff is top-notch -- ready, willing and able to ensure that each resident's needs are met expediently and with kind and caring thoughtfulness. We could see how dedicated the staff is at this facility to the enrichment and care of the residents they are entrusted with.
