My uncle is at The Forum at Lincoln Heights. They are very helpful. They did pretty much everything they needed to do to get him in there. The facility itself is nice. They have movie nights and game nights and stuff like that. As for amenities, they have somebody that comes in and does hair, have a little workout room, and have an outside area where people can go sit. The food is good. They've got a pretty good variety of meals, but my uncle doesn't care much about their breakfast. But I had the shrimp plate, and that was pretty good. They keep the place clean, too.

I went to The Forum at Lincoln Heights. What I like most about The Forum are the amenities that it provides. It was clean and the location is close to shopping and churches. There's a covered heated pool where they do exercise. The staff is very knowledgeable and concerned about things that my mother likes.

We have decided on The Forum at Lincoln Heights for my dad and he's moved in already. I like the size of it, it's got a lot of residents and a peer group for my father, and a very friendly staff. The dining room was very nice with lots of menu choices daily. It's in a great location and very convenient to where I live. The staff is very friendly and proactive in ensuring that everything is going well. The rooms are renovated with new appliances, fixtures, and a brand new walk-in shower. It's very nice and it has a full kitchen. The grounds are very well kept and very pretty and it has a pool area. The dining area was very nice, they do a great job there. For Memorial Day, they decorate it all up with red, white, and blue tablecloths and linens. They have very nice staff and excellent food. My dad has tried the food there and he loves it. They have a pretty full activity calendar each month. They have a Men's Cave meeting every Monday, which appeals to my dad, being a man. They've got mass on Sundays and they do trips to the local grocery stores and various things.

My friends are residents of The Forum at Lincoln Heights. It's got nice furniture; it's organized, clean, and spacious. The room is pretty spacious there. They've got a walk-in closet, bigger rooms, and balconies, it's nice. The staff is always willing to help, but the management is not as good. They have a pool there, and they have card games. Before COVID, they had visitors come in and do talks or concert-type things. The dining area has nice furniture, and it's got like a menu where you choose what food you want for that day, and they serve it to you. It's more like a restaurant- style. Their staff is nice; they're young, and they help a lot.

We went to The Forum in Lincoln Heights to see their independent living. We wanted to see how different it is with assisted living. There are people that work there that kept telling us to go check it out, so that's what we did. We just wanted to sort of look at both ends of the situation. The place was very nice. You're talking $4,000 a month so it's extremely high-end. We went from one end to the other end of the services that are out there for the elderly. Overall, The Forum was a 'wow' kind of thing. It's very, very nice. You're getting $4,000 worth of services; they have to be beyond 5 stars. You're looking at high-end type service, and it's high-end everything. You're going to get extreme quality care there. The apartment was really nice. I didn't expect it to be big, but it was very nice for one person to live. The cafeteria setting was nice. We got to see their menu. They have a movie theater. They had activities going on at the time we walked in. Some residents participated and some didn't; it's their option. They had medical transportation too. I didn't go into the room where their activities were being done, but they had something going on. We saw some people in an activity room and we were informed that on Fridays they have a happy hour kind of thing. They had a theater room. They had a conference room in case they needed to talk to the family or if the family just wanted to sit around with the person. It was more of a family group type of room. They had a big yard where they had cookouts. At the level we went to, there was a gardening type of club. They had plants that the residents on that floor were taking care of. I thought it was really cute because there were a lot of little gardeners going out of their apartment to go and make sure their plants were fine.

The Forum at Lincoln Heights is an excellent facility and they're well-staffed. My mother has been there four times, she likes the place, so it's her preferred place. It's very comfortable, very clean, and very professional. It's topnotch. They're still in lockdown, but they're good with what they're doing. They're making arrangements now where you can go in for a short visit if you've been tested for COVID, or if you have to go through a PPE training process. Otherwise, all you can do is bring stuff for your loved one or mail, and they will just come out and bring them to the patients. You can go into their cafeteria or something like that for a short period of time, say only for 30 minutes. They're excellent. As far as their staff handling the insurance, the staff that books people into their long-term care, everybody has been professional and things are smooth as silk. She likes the food.

The Forum at Lincoln Heights was very nice. The activities and everything else looked pretty nice. However, the interior seemed dark and wasn't as cheerful a place as several other places that we had visited. The other thing is that they have the old air-conditioning and heating units. It's a good location, which is in an older part of town. I love the stately old oaks around it and that it's in a rolling area. The topography is very nice there, but the space was limited.

Mom was at The Forum at Lincoln Heights and it was a wonderful place. The staff was awesome. They were very caring and wonderful people. The food was great and the dining area was really nice. They have happy hours where they listene t music a couple of times a week, and they play Bingo and cards. They really take care of their residents. They have a pool and a library. For an elderly person looking for independent living, this is the best place.

The Forum at Lincoln Heights was nice and clean, and the staff was friendly and helpful. I didn’t see very many residents out. The rooms were clean and comparable to others. There was a variety of rooms that you could choose from.

The residents at the Forum at Lincoln Heights seemed to be so happy and full of life still, and they enjoyed their meals tremendously in the beautiful dining room which was just impeccable. Everyday they knew the menus because they were printed out and given to them. They also enjoyed their social activities, and the excursions into little towns in San Antonio. I noticed so many families were there to visit them, and they also made very nice comments about visiting their relatives there. I also dined with them. If there was anything that you needed, they would stand at attention. It was so pleasing to have been able to get into that kind of environment ,but, unfortunately, I couldn’t because of the pricing, but anyone else would love it.

The Forum at Lincoln Heights was fine when we had our visit there, although it was hard to see the the place as it was in the middle of a lot of renovation that keeps it from being attractive right now, but it looks like it is going to be wonderful when it’s done. Their food was excellent. The floor plan that we saw for the rooms was very nice, but there was also one floor plan that didn't have windows. It was dark, and we would not be able to live in that. Overall, the place was fine.

I enjoyed The Forum at Lincoln Heights, had a positive experience, and liked everything about it. It was spotless and like a resort. They had a chef, a formal dining room, and everything you could want. They had plenty of activities going on.

I have placed my mother at The Forum. They have more services and their facilities are nicer than places I have previously looked. She’s in rehab. It’s very, very secure.

At The Forum at Lincoln Heights they have very nice rooms. They were in the process of renovating, as it is a little older facility. Their food was very good, and their staff was just outstanding. They were very, very polite and helpful. In fact, we stayed there for about 10 days. The thing about this facility is that they are really close to a large shopping center and churches. It is a quite pleasant experience for our uncle.

I looked at The Forum, and I liked it. I thought the outside was gorgeous. It's in a beautiful part of town. It's very nice, but from where I live, it is a long way away. At the time, my father was living and had my mother move to their memory care unit. He was not permitted to join her for meals and meals were important to my family, so that would not have worked for us regardless. There were 2 very separate facilities. I saw the dining room and it was nice. It's a very nice-looking facility, so I would expect nothing less.
