I'm a resident of Affinity at Monterrey Village. The facility is kept up very well. They have four floors, and they have elevators. The utilities are all included in your rent. They have activities for you to do if you choose to participate in any of them. The bathrooms are equipped with safety handrails. It's a walk-in shower, you don't have to worry about crawling over a tub to get into the shower. Every Friday they have bingo. They have chair aerobics every Saturday. They have craft activities, and dance things that you can participate in. It's a variety of things and it's very nice here. The staff is very nice and very accommodating. If you have any issues whatsoever, they will do their best to reach out and help you. There's a kitchen in all of the apartments. The only thing that they don't do anymore is, provide meals. I think that started before I moved in here. I think it was because of the pandemic, so they stopped serving the meals. There is somebody that comes in every day, to vacuum and clean things up. There are people there, that if something goes wrong with something in your apartment, they come by and fix it. Then they have the people that take care of the outside and the grounds.

We toured Affinity at Monterrey Village. It was a beautiful place. The lady that I dealt with was super nice and very informative. She took me all over the place. She checked back with me when they had an actual apartment available that I could see. All positive. I don't have anything negative to say about them except I can't live there, not yet. They're definitely a rock star. I saw the amenities and the grounds, but I did not see any apartments. They did not have anything available. They have a library, they have a game room, they have a community room, they have a theater, they have a weight room, they have a shop for the men, they have indoor spas and patios to sit and read, and they have a family room where you can invite your family in and have them come.

Affinity at Monterrey Village is a new place. It's got great rooms with new appliances and I liked the fact that they've got a lot of things/events going on. They have a woodworking shop and I love woodwork, so that was fantastic. The lady I talked to was a nice person. She pretty much told me everything I needed to know. She was very knowledgeable about the place and she even gave me a book. The apartments were pretty large and very clean. The bathrooms were also fantastic. It's easy to walk in and take a shower. They cater to the disabled, too. It was justnice to see and be there. They have places for people to do crafts, they have a happy hour, and a nice place to sit down and watch movies. They were great.

The Affinity at Monterrey Village was pretty nice. It was a family oriented place. It was friendly. They had a lot to offer there. The staff was a nice lady. She told us about what they do and stuff to help people out there. She told me that it was kind of like a family oriented place. It was nice, and it had all that I wanted. It was nice and roomy. It had all the appliances that I needed: washer, dryer, stove, dishwasher, and refrigerator. She didn't give us a menu, but gave us a list of activities, functions that they do weekly. When we walked in, they had a meeting discussing things that they were doing. For somebody moving down there and wanting a place to live, I think it would be a nice place.

I've toured Affinity at Monterrey Village twice since we thought we'll be moving my dad there. They had a space for us in October opening up on the first floor, no less, but we just can't get that money from the VA. It's a 55+ community and everything that I've observed during the tour was very nice. They're very helpful and the place is very peaceful and tranquil. It's not overly engaging, which is what my dad didn't want, but they're very friendly to you and they look out for each other as well. The facility is just fantastic. My brother wanted to stay there, my husband wanted to live there, and my daughter wanted to live there with me. It is a very, very nice place. There was no food during our visit but there were lots of drinks, offerings, and invitations to all the activities that they're having. I think they were having a Luau. They were going to have food there as well. They have a happy hour to come during that time.

We did a tour of Affinity at Monterrey Village; it was a nice facility. The people there seemed very friendly. The lady showing us around was wonderful; she had a great personality. The only thing my mom did not care for was that even though it is only a five-year-old community, it seemed very dated. It was like they were thinking, "Old people live here, so we're going to decorate it for old people." It was kind of gloomy. It wasn't bright, cheery, or modern. She liked the apartment, but when you first walk in, it just looked very much like it was for old people. Even though it is for old people, they want bright, cheery, and modern. I'm sixty-five, and it just seemed a little too old fashioned for me.

I visited Affinity at Monterrey Village. I really enjoyed it; it was a very good visit. They sent a lyft driver out to pick me up, they were very accommodating. They had all different sized facilities, I got to tour the different sized rooms, and I saw all of their community centers also. The staff was extremely nice; he was very, very nice. In fact, I called him back just recently and complimented him, gave him kudos because he was very nice, and I felt very safe around him, and I told him that. That's probably where I would move to, probably around the 15th of February

I live in Affinity at Monterey Village and its fantastic. Theres privacy to the building because you get to have a key. The staff member during my tour was fantastic. They took me on a tour of what they have and I really liked it. The room is fantastic. Its a 1-bedroom, which I chose, it hads a stove, a microwave, refrigerator, and cable, which is included. You have to cook your own meals. They have a swimming pool, jacuzzi, and a room where you can build things, they have a pool table, and gatherings for families. They offer a lot of activities and they will adjust to your disability, The cost is reasonable, its very clean, up to date, and I had no problems with it.
