Since Shannon was fired there was no manager for months and weeks with a partime so called manager. Since there has been no one there that cares about the tentents and very rude. One mantence person for weeks. I would not recommend to anyone. Very poor management

I will be moving into LIV at Westover Hills. I like that it's just behind the YMCA, which I use five days a week and I can walk to it. I don't have to keep driving. The apartment is good and it's less expensive. It's a 62-plus senior community. They have some issues, but the apartment is very nice. It meets my needs and I went by location and price. It's not perfect, but the apartment is for me. The young staff that's there is very good. She works hard, she's friendly, and she was pleasant. She took care of things. I don't have a complaint. They do not provide food. They've got a pool and an exercise room with equipment. They have a big area if you wanted to have company and have a huge meal. They've got a kitchen there that you can use. It met my needs. They have carpeting in the halls where people are dragging things and staining them. They're looking at trying to take that out and put down different flooring. That would be my only cleanliness issue, but they're working on it. The lobby is nice.

My brother will be moving into LIV at Westover Hills. It was a real thrill tour. I visited the apartment that he is going to move into. Everything he needed was there. It is wide open and has wide doors for his scooter. It was pretty much everything he was looking for, except it didn't have a walk-in shower. It had a tub, and my brother said that he's going to compromise with that. It was very beautiful, and everything was clean. Everybody seemed cheerful and friendly. It had a washer and dryer included, but there were no meals included. They had 2-bedrooms and an efficiency room, but my brother chose a 1-bedroom. They had plenty of activities and a really nice arts and crafts room. It had all that he needed there. The facility was good. It had nice, big, wide halls, and it had four floors to choose from.

LIV at Westover Hills was nice, but it's too much money. It's a beautiful place. The staff was nice and listened to what I was saying. Everything was nice. The people were nice. The gentleman took me for a tour and showed me the apartment. It had one room and a living room and a kitchen with an island. There was no table. He mentioned that there was a beauty salon. There's a swimming pool and arts and crafts. They even have bingo. It was on the fourth floor. They had elevators, and that was nice. The price was just a little too steep. The facility was great.

We have chosen LIV at Westover Hills. It seems to be pretty good for our needs, so we're happy. There were a variety of factors involved in this choice, and one is the cost of living in San Antonio is quite low. The other was the size of the apartment that was available for the price. It was probably the lowest cost per square foot, and we needed to have some space because we collected art and books and so forth over our lives. Also, it's very critical for my wife that it has a washer and dryer supplied in the apartment. It's senior apartments for people 62 years old and older. The staff were very helpful and very nice. They have a swimming pool, a gym, a craft area, and religious services on Sundays. There's a salon, and there's a big kitchen that can be used by the residents. They have the usual amenities. However, they don't keep the corridors and the common areas as clean as we'd like to see.

We visited the LIV at Westover Hills. We just went in unannounced and took a tour of it. It's just a two-year-old building, so they're fairly new. We enjoyed the tour and looked at some rooms and the activity rooms. They had a woman who took us on a tour of the facilities. And of course, it's very modern because it's only two years old. It doesn't have as much green space as the other two that we visited, they just have the established shrubbery and trees still growing, but it was a nice tour and we enjoyed it. Their rooms were much larger than the other two we toured, they were for independent living. But they did not have meal plans available, so you had to do your own cooking, and so all the rooms had a big kitchen. They have a dog park and a swimming pool, and then they had rooms for activities, rooms for crafts, and fitness rooms. They're the only ones we've seen that had a swimming pool for the guests.

LIV at Westover Hills is smaller than the other independent living facilities we've been seeing, which would make my father a little bit more comfortable. It's much more affordable because it doesn't include a lot of amenities, but it has enough amenities for him. I like that the community is sixty-two and over versus fifty-five plus. We're looking at October as a move-in date. They have us on the waitlist with no guarantee. We're hoping that this community works out for my father.
