My father suffered a stroke and while hospitalized, it was recommended he pursue treatment at a Skilled Nursing Facility for physical therapy, occupational therapy, nursing care, and speech therapy. We chose Trinity after reading the positive reviews of other families who had taken their loved ones there. I am so happy we did. He received all of his therapy services daily from very caring professionals. From the moment he got there till the end of his stay there, we saw him make significant progress every day. My dad told us he felt very safe and cared for while there and that meant everything to us. I truly appreciate the professionalism and expertise provided throughout his stay. Thank you to everyone at Trinity Care!

This place is very poorly staffed, and the training appears to be minimal, at best. We had to write numerous emails and call several meetings about staff neglecting our parent's needs, or outright sabotaging our parent's care. The staff is overworked, but even the more competent nurses had a jaded attitude, so work morale is quite low, clearly. We whisked our parent out of Trinity Care as soon as we could. The place is also unsanitary.

Words can’t nearly express my concern for the treatment given to my mother as a patient at this facility-Trinity Care Center. I chose this facility as they showed to have had a 4.3 rating and had some fairly good reviews…therefore I felt that I had selected a great center for my mom to be rehabilitated for her broken ankle at the age of 70 but I was proven to be very wrong! My mother had been in the Trinity Care Center for 4 days. During those first 4 days- she hadn’t been bathed, wasn’t given cloths to clean her face, dentures had remained in her mouth without cleaning, gown hadn’t been changed, was having difficulties eating with her left hand because she is right-handed, but the way the staff had positioned her in the bed, she would have to lean on her right arm to reach her food. My younger brother who had been there to see her daily c/o of her always being so medicated to the point that she could not communicate. He was fearful she wasn’t being seen appropriately as he often had to walk to the nurse’s station for assistance because her call button wouldn’t be answered up to 30 minutes to be exact. It literally took 20-30 mins before someone responded then she would be told that they would be back. As I would facetime with my brother while he was there with our mother, I saw these things be true. I also saw my mom’s condition and she seemed to have been digressing instead of progressing which troubled me greatly. So, my husband and I traveled over 3 hours to see her in person and to ask about her care. Upon our arrival, we encountered the very things that I had been seeing over facetime and what my brother was seeing daily. The room was so small and dark. It seemed half clean as the bathroom was clean. We pushed the call button and it took a while for someone to answer so I sent my brother to ask the nurse to come talk to me about the plan of care for our mother. A few more minutes later 2 nurses arrived. They didn’t introduce themselves and had no name badges on so I introduced myself and husband as they both stood in the doorway leaning against the walls with their arms folded as though I was bothering them. They stated their names were Leo and Nell when I asked about mom’s medications, they both said they didn’t know what she was taking as they both continued to lean on the wall/door with their arms folded….when I asked what was the skilled plan for rehabilitating her ankle they both said they didn’t know and that I would have to speak with the rehab Director. When I asked for that person, I was told he was not there. Then Leo said she couldn’t walk on the leg anyway cause its not the right type of cast. So, I asked why they accepted her when there was literally nothing they could do for her. She was just taking a bed and they were not seeing to her needs. I left and traveled back home to gather a plan to have her discharged but wasn’t there 15 minutes before my mother called crying hysterically demanding I come back and get her out of the facility then her phone died abruptly! I called the mainline to speak with a nurse to determine what was going on. After making multiple calls, I finely spoke with a nurse that chuckled the entire time while I was trying to see what was happening to my mother. My mother was worst than she was prior to arriving there…. Why had my mom’s quality of life decreased so much when she was only there for a broken ankle? She had lost so much weight, didn’t look well at all, had major shakes in her hands, couldn’t communicate properly etc. Well, I wasn’t going to continue to see as they only appeared to have her there until she died. I had her discharged 2 days later because it was a process but she is now with me in DFW where she is progressing better than I could have imagined. DO NOT SEND YOUR LOVE ONE(S) TO THIS FACILITY!!! You will regret it. I know, I did.

My father asked me to stay the night after residing two nights at TCC. He stated that the staff, when they finally got there after at least 30 minutes were snotty to him. Paying their monthly fee in advance and having a very independent man feel scared to stay there was horrible. My father died here after two very frustrating weeks! We thought that when we vetted places for our loved one that asking questions like- are you well staffed was adequate. I didn't know that we would have to ask is your staff sleeping at the nurses' station (three times in one day!) or playing games on their phone (I have the pictures without faces shown) while there are patients waiting for help. Finding the oxygen tube wrapped around his neck twice and him not being able to move himself due to a broken and unset leg, having nurses threaten me, and staying awake all night to see no rounding occurring, made me call two meetings in order to get some response and then Dad died. I have waited seven months to write this review in order to make sure my words weren't bitter. I just wanted my dad to die peacefully. How wrong I was to allow him to reside here!

This was the worst experience one could have as a place for a loved one to be a part of. It is filthy, there is dirt everywhere, the "kitchen" fridge is disgusting, the freezer is worse than disgusting, the room had no A/C (we had to go buy our own fans!), the smell is foul the minute you walk through the door, I could go on and on. RUN, do not walk and do not bother to step foot here, and go somewhere else.

Everything in Trinity Care Center is well-kept. It's an older facility, but it's a very nicely maintained older facility (it would be nice if the facilities were updated a little bit). All the rooms are old as well so they are not very big, but they're clean and nice in size. There are no showers in the rooms, just a bathroom. The staff is very caring and they treat mom kindly. She's probably the healthiest I've seen in a long time. They're really on top of her medications. They keep her clean, which means we haven't had any infections. They're still observing COVID protocols and I don't think they're going to stop. You have to wear an N95 mask and you have to log in and out every day and fill out a questionnaire. The reason for that is that there are a lot of sick people there and they don't want any germs. If you have a cold or something, you can't go in. She's enjoying the food. It's not a Top Chef kind of place, but it's just healthy food according to the diet that her doctor prescribed and she likes it most of the time. She's eating better than she did before. The price is right in line with everything. It's not the least expensive and it's not the most expensive. I know that there are less expensive places, but I don't know that I'd take mom to those. They have Medicaid bed availability by the way.

I am so glad to have found Trinity Care Center! We recently moved to Round Rock after my husband was stationed at Fort Hood and shortly after relocating, my mother needed emergency surgery. Since we have no one close to help care for her needs, I was frantic to find a reputable facility to help rehabilitate my mother back to health. It was a stressful few days as we navigated insurance and determined her needs but Yvette at Trinity was diligent and was able to get things moving quickly. She was very responsive and knowledgeable and answered all my flustered and worried questions. Yvette put my fears at ease and was so friendly. We are forever grateful to have found someplace that treats their patients with care and compassion from admissions to the wonderful nurses and therapists who work together towards a common goal.

I am very satisfied with the care Trinity has provided for my father. My dad is in his 60s and can be a hard man to please. We've been in the nursing care system for almost 20 years, Trinity is the 5 location we've been to & so far this is the most comfortable & pleased his ever been. He literally has nothing to complain about. His speech has improved and his spirit seems so much more upbeat & content. All his stuff was stored and structure in a good manor also. I highly recommend Trinity & their great staff.

It is the people that make Trinity so amazing! They really love my dad like he is a family member. They care for his needs and encourage him to get better. He has improved so much since arriving at Trinity. They also helped him get qualified for Medicaid. I love Trinity! Don't hesitate to send your loved one to them. My dad also loves the food.

Trinity Care Center has been part of the Round Rock community for years. The facility has a very "homey" feel which is a good fit for the relative who is there. Meals are tasty and varied enough to be interesting. However, the main reason we love Trinity Care Center is the employees - from the maintenance crew to the nursing staff, nursing aides, activities director, business and front desk staff. Without exception they have been kind, caring, and willing to do everything they can to keep the resident (and family) happy and comfortable.

My dad moved into Trinity Care Center. I like the personnel, nurses, and administrators. They are very nice and very professional. My dad is getting physical therapy as well as skilled nursing daily care. The activities are great. They have a Bible study, games, and socializing. They have good food. My dad likes the food. They have a community dining room and TV room that are easily accessible. They do have an outdoor patio. The value is excellent for the money. What you get for the money, quality of staff, quality of people, and food is an excellent value. It's a little bit older facility is the reason why I would give it a little lower rating.

The staff and employees are so nice and accommodating. They have strict visitation rules and the check-in process is somewhat involved, but it's all for the best and not a problem. The rooms are clean, no typical rest home smell. Yvette (Admissions) and Stephanie (Business Mgr) were especially helpful in getting a room very quickly with very little notice. The place is definitely not new, but the vintage 50's feel is nostalgic and quite comfortable. The courtyard is really nice. Visitor parking, however, is quite limited and street parking is sometimes the alternative, and the small street gets congested. The residents seem happy and well taken care of. The entire place seems to be well ventilated, it always feels fresh and comfortable inside.

My mother was in the memory care unit at Trinity. The nursing staff was always responsive to questions about her care. She was well taken care of by nurses and aides and all her medical needs were addressed in a very caring and professional manner. It is an older facility but was always clean and didn’t have an odor. Business staff was extremely helpful. I highly recommend Trinity.

I visited Trinity Care Center. I have an overall positive impression of both the place and the staff there. The rooms there were small but clean. I interacted with the administrator people more than the nursing staff, but they were very nice and we were greeted by residents while we were on the tour, which impressed me.

My father spent his last years at Trinity Care Center. Because of issues with dementia, he had been forced to hop around several facilities in Cedar Park and Round Rock. Trinity was the perfect home for him. The building is not new and shiny, but the love and care he received was superb. Everyone from the aides to the medicine techs and even the nurses were over the top. I visited almost every day so I was able to witness the ins-and-outs and ups-and-downs with not just my dad, but everyone on his wing. He wasn't the easiest patient, either. His voice was weak and he was hard to understand. His dementia made him constantly want to wander and try to "escape," and his Parkinson's made him angry and sad. Even on his rough days I found the staff loved him and made him feel like he was at home. Trinity was his home and I am eternally grateful to the staff from Wing C, as well as the business manager and therapy folks. Thank you!

I was amazed by the caring and friendly attitude of all the staff as they cared for my mom on a daily basis. Words cannot express how loved she and I both felt while she was a resident there.

We had our 89 year old mother that went to Trinity Care Center after leading a very full and active life. She was treated with great care and dignity. The staff was attentive and the facility was clean. But, the best thing I can say is that Mom would tell us everyday about how good the food was. When I would stop by to visit everyday after I got off work, she would tell me the favorite thing she had for lunch. She remarked over and over again how wonderful it was that they seasoned the food. After 89 years of eating food seasoned with salt, bacon, etc. she appreciated the fact that the food was not bland and tasteless.
