I thought Park Valley Inn Health Center was very clean and very nice. The staff was wonderful. I really like them. I like the facility. My friend got to stay for a little over a week, but they brought him back to my house the day before yesterday. Their issue was that they just couldn't take anymore Medicaid-pending patients right now. I didn't eat there or even see any of the meals. My friend didn't seem to complain about the meals. He seemed to enjoy them. They had activities. They tried to get them active every day. I was really looking forward to it, and I'm still hoping that after this all works out I can get my friend approved for Medicaid so that he would be able to go back there.

Good luck if you're leaving a loved one in that place. Short of nurses and the ones that are there can't be bothered. Residents are.afraid to say anything because of the repercussions they would face from staff. There is a reason they're only half full. The other wing is completely empty, which should be a huge red flag, just saying!

The rooms here are spacious and newly remodeled. Staff are kind and welcoming. I hear the ED is new here and my interaction with her was welcoming and inviting. The activities vary and are provided to my loved one as to what she wants to do. They offer physical therapy, occupational, and speech therapy. Facility clean.

I came to look at facility, it is beautiful they said it had recently been remodeled. The lady who answered the door was Angela, very nice and helpful. Helped me with signing in and answered questions that I asked. Walked through facility which was very clean and meet several people all were nice. Rooms are nice and very clean. Residents were doing activities and looked to be having a great time. I strongly suggest you check them out.

This facility is terrible. Due to covid, you can't visit, but understandable. my mother was in there and she had falled 4 times in which i know about. they told me she bruised her face so i insisted they call me by video from her cell phone and my mom looked horrible. due to her stroke in which she had blood on the brain, insisted why they did not send her to the hospital and was told she would not be able to return for 7 days. since she was in their care, asked where would she go once released from the hospital, they did not know. also trying to get call backs from the director, the billing, the case manager is impossible. my mom had scheduled appts at the hospital that she missed because the facility did not arrange the transportation. sent an email to file a grievance on this facility, no one ever called or sent me the paperwork and i have the email stating that someone would send that to me and still have not received it at this point. also at initial meeting with the board, they stated i would get weekly updates on my mothers progress. Never received any of those. at one point, i had to ask the receptionist was my mother still alive because no one would return my call and i could not reach my mother. eventually, they released my mother because she kept trying to escape. now trying to get her bill is impossible. i have talked to the billing and the director and still have not got the bill and i have been requesting since 9/16/2020. ask for the corportate number and have not got that either. this place is terrible! enter at your own risk!!!!!

My mother was not fed dinner 2 times in a week. Although they charged me for bi-weekly podiatry, her toenails were so long she couldn't put shoes on. After 5 requests and 2 formal complaints, I had to stand at nurses station for hours throwing a fit until they trimmed them. They never showered my mother, they let her shower herself. There were 1000 reasons this was not a good idea hence in a nursing home). Terrible heartbreaking place.

This facility is always understaffed, often times having only two CNAs working one on each side of the building. Currently, the majority of the staff are temps. My advice is to look and consider carefully before placing your loved ones here.

My mother had been in Park Valley Inn before when she fell and broke her hip and her arm. It’s just a mile from my house, and it’s a very nice facility and just the convenience. She had friends that were already there; it’s very attractive, lots of nice plants and flowers. The staff is friendly and caring. I would recommend the place although sometimes, they don’t have as many staff.

The staff was generally friendly and helpful, even when Mom was at her worst. They encouraged her to get invovled in the activities and that allowed her to have a better experience. All the CNA's that worked there were especially kind and caring and my mom loved them like family.
