I like the apartment we have here at Affinity at Round Rock. It's not quite big enough for us, but for your average couple, it's a good-sized apartment. It's 840 square feet, but it's great. We're on the first floor and we're right at the end of the hall so we had access to the outside very easily until they started the construction and hammering off all the stone that's on the side of the building that they're replacing all the windows in here. The staff is extremely helpful. The problem is the staff turns over every few months. There are all kinds of activities available here. They bring donuts in and they have people come and do line dancing. They have trivia almost daily. They have movies. They do lots of stuff. The community rooms always have people in it visiting. The internet cafe has people who go in and get their coffee and go out and have a seat in the community room. When we want to get out and around, everybody's pretty convenient. They're nice.

Affinity at Round Rock was wonderful. They could not have been more kind and helpful. My husband had an apartment there and we stayed in his apartment for a couple of weeks while we were getting all the business taken care of down there. My daughter kept wanting to go down to the Internet cafe where they have coffee machines and stuff, but it wasn't because she wanted a cup of coffee, she just wanted to socialize with the people there. That was the vibe. They had a dog park where my husband walked his dog all the time. The facility was clean and safe. They had locks in place. It was well monitored. They had activities going on. People came in to put on little performances and stuff. They had regular activities for the residents and they had a card-playing room. It was just very, very comfortable and very, very welcoming. It was easy to just kind of breathe while we were there. My husband felt the same way. It was a very pleasant experience. The woman we work with, Christy, was so kind. We couldn't have asked for a more considerate person. She gave me her email in case I needed anything. She was that engaged. The residents kept the dog park nice, too, but having pets and a place for the pets to just chill, was already a very positive thing. They were very focused on the residents, making sure that they had whatever they needed, just to be comfortable and entertained, and active.

I love Affinity at Round Rock. The people here are so nice. I am really enjoying living here. It's a very nice and clean facility. They respond to any request that I have. The residents are the ones that decide what activities they want for the month. They have a Bible study and all kinds of different activities.

I visited Affinity at Round Clock. It was a very nice property. If I had to pick a place for my parents to live, that would be at the top of my list. They showed me several apartments. They were pretty clean and spacious. They had an exercise area, a heated pool, a lot of craft areas, and areas where you can play games. They have a bar, a movie theater, and an internet café, too. It was a pretty cool place. For activities, they have arts and crafts. They have options for the residents to go shopping to a nearby outlet and they have games.

I went for an interview with Affinity at Round Rock. I had a tour in person and I liked it a lot. It is an adjustment to move down from the square footage of 1800 to 800. Except for that, I was impressed with all of their amenities. There were several amenities that wouldn't be important to us, but the things I liked were the game room where they have the pool table and shuffleboard, the bar area, the heated pool, and the dog area. The people were very awesome. That would be right now our top choice having only looked at one place.

We chose Affinity at Round Rock for my mother-in-law. It was close to her daughter and closer to us. They don't have the meals served, but she's very excited about having her own kitchen, and she's able to cook for herself. She's moving at the end of January. The staff was very friendly and very informative. The room was perfect, it was really nice, it felt like an apartment, and I would move in there myself. The place was contemporary, modern, clean, and the ground was well manicured. It is very close to some lake, it is very close to Ikea, the Round Rock malls, and fancy restaurants.

I had seen Affinity at Round Rock last year and actually had put some money down on it, but my circumstances were that I had to pull it. I was very impressed and pleased with them. I did an in-person visit, and I even had picked out a room. I was impressed with everything. I had two visits with two different people and they were marvelous. The room was everything I wanted. The building at the time wasn't quite a year old. The activities were great. It was independent living, so there were a lot of people like me, and they had a really nice outside. They had an area for sitting out or if you had company. They had a garden area where you could have a little patch of land and plant your flowers. The parking was good, and they had a variety depending on how much you wanted to spend. They had a happy hour. The price was right at the time. If I could do it again at that price, I probably would.
