My father was in The pavilion for a few days before he passed away. They have physical therapy in a small room, and there were several people there.

Trisun holds about 25 people and has a very cheerful and warm atmosphere. They have all their meals in the common dining room, but I think they can have them in their rooms too, as they have kitchenettes if they want to fix something themselves. There are quite a few activities, especially for the women. They have makeup techniques, they play dominos and checkers, they have a walkers group, they have church service on Wednesdays, I believe, and they have Catholic communion on Sundays. Everyone is quite friendly. The cleanliness is first rate. The staff is very friendly and caring.

They do not want any patients that are risks for falling. They do not want any patients who have family members who will speak up for their loved ones and demand the proper care the doctor has ordered. They're slow to respond to the "NEED NURSE" button. They run out of medicines and make the patients wait for their prescribed meds. They have only 1 maintenance man and if he's off at night, his weekend, or on vacation -- NOTHING GETS DONE! They have insufficient outlets in each room for tv, phone charger, alarm clock, and anything else! No double outlets are permitted so patients go without something. Patients are left wanting or needing assistance, next to nurses station watching tv or in rooms because they are short on staff! And I love hearing, "it's not my job" from anyone in an office; try to get info and no one is available and since they're gone you get no help.
