This is a dangerous facility for loved ones who have impaired cognitive function because the owner/staff actively advocate for their own interests over the patient’s. Beware!

My mother was at Serenity Home Assisted Care Living. I wouldn't recommend anybody to go there. The care was very poor. The food was very poor. My mother never had a home-cooked meal. Foods were always boxed up. The appearance of the place was beautiful, and it was very clean. However, the staff never knew about anything. They didn't communicate with us. My mother fell several different times, but they never called us, and nobody ever knew about anything. The lack of communication was horrible. Also, the medications were not given like they should be, and there was a lot of stealing going on. A lot of my mother's stuff showed up missing every time we were there.
