Collier Park Senior Living was the first one we looked at and we were suitably impressed. People were very friendly. The place was clean. There's tons of activities that Mom would enjoy. The meals got great reviews, and right now she's been very happy there. She's met so many people just in her first few days and we're very pleased. She's got a nice-sized one bedroom apartment that has plenty of room. It has a small kitchen with a full size refrigerator, a dishwasher, a stove, and a sink. There is a nice-sized living room with a bay window. Then she has one bedroom, which has a really big closet and a nice storage unit in it. The bathroom is handicap accessible with grab rails and an alert button on the wall, so that if she needs something, she should be able to reach it. Every resident is given a life alert pendant that they wear, compliments of the facility, and that is on all the time. They also have two bedrooms and a larger one. It's pet friendly, so she can have her cat. The staff has been very responsive. The first day that Mom was there we noticed that one of the outlets on the wall did not have an cover on it. I mentioned it to the maintenance guy and he went downstairs right away and was back up within 15 minutes and fixed that without a problem. All her meals are taken care of. They have a general dining room and it's restaurant service. It's not like a buffet line or anything. Residents go to the table and the server comes and takes their order and gives them their food. It's a gated community. I feel like she's safe and well cared for. I feel very at ease with her living situation, and any time she needs to go anywhere they will arrange to provide transportation. Yesterday she had a doctor's appointment and they had her there on time; it was no hassle. She just had to call them the day before and let them know what time she needed to go. They were there promptly to pick her up as soon as she called.

Collier Park Senior Living was good. The woman we met was a little more like a salesperson. She was fine, but she was just not quite as genuine as the staff at the other places. The facility was clean and nice, but I think it was too large for my mother. They had a salon, all kinds of different activities, all three meals, and transportation. They also had a pool with a courtyard and some balconies. You could tell the rooms had some age to them.

I went to Collier Park Senior Living. It was a decent look. The apartments were just too small. It was a long distance from the apartment to the dining room. For someone like my mother, it was pretty far to travel. I saw an efficiency apartment, and everything was pretty much together in one place, and a one bedroom that also looked nice, but it was rather small. The staff was pleasant. I saw the dining room, the computer room, their workout room, pretty much everything. I saw the recreation room for games for senior citizens and people coming to visit. It was nice.

My sister-in-law is going to Collier Park Senior Living. When I walked in there, I thought it was suitable for her. She's dissatisfied with the things where she is, and those were not evident at all at Collier Park. She would have more of an opportunity to mix with more people there. She was pretty isolated where she is right now. They showed us both independent and assisted living. The staff was very, very helpful. The room was very roomy and very fresh and had lots of light. They seemed to have all the amenities that she would use like transportation, and they're going to take care of for medicine. They had balconies on some of the places. Hers is going to be a ground level and we liked that, too.

My mother's room at Collier Park Senior Living is palatial compared to anything else we saw, for the price. I just said to mom that these other rooms are almost like you're just sitting there waiting for the end to come. She has a 1-bedroom large, so that's what let us stay back. The food may be up and down, and some repairs need to be done. I mentioned to them that their filters need to be cleaned for their air conditioner-type things. But as far as how nice it is, and how large a room was, that's what led us to stay. They just closed their beauty shop, which is not good. They're still very locked down, that was very weird. Everybody else could walk in the front door, you could go to the room, and you could see where Collier Park is still locked down; that is ridiculous. They bring people in, they do but occasionally, go up to visit and listen to music. I think it's just music mostly. It's very pretty and well kept. It's a pretty nice place.

My mom was at Collier Park's independent living and then moved to assisted living. It was great and my mother liked the food because it was like home cooking. It was like old-timey home-cooked food like rice and gravy and mashed potatoes. It wasn't fancy food, it was what real people eat. My husband is even saying he loves it. We have no complaints at all. The only reason we moved my mom from there is that they didn't have a memory care unit. Otherwise, she'd still be there. The location was great. It was right by Parkdale Mall, it was easy to get to, and it's right off the freeway. They had parties and they had something to do every day and every hour. They had bingo, they did puzzles, and all kinds of activities, all during the day. They even had something at seven o'clock at night. A lot of times they had music and they had bands come in. That was before Covid hit it. It was just amazing that it can get the residents busy all the time.

My mother moved into Collier Park Senior Living. It was a good price, they had different activities, and they did a lot for the residents. They keep the people active. They used to take them places, but because of COVID-19, they don't do that anymore. They still play bingo. She has a one-bedroom, the studio doesn't come with a stove, but she has a living room/kitchen, and bathroom. She loves the food, and they come by with snacks.

The manager took me on a tour of Collier Park Senior Living. It was very nicely appointed, most of the parking was inside a gated area, it's covered, and it's full. I had a pleasant visit there. The manager gave me a detailed information about the setup, the living quarters, and when I left she gave me printed information as well, which was very helpful. In the middle of the facility, there's a pool, and I know they have exercise classes. They take people to appointments, to the church, and places.

The lady who showed us around Collier Park was very nice, friendly, and professional. It would've been a good place for my mom to live. They said they were about to undergo some renovations. The room I saw wasn't as nice as where she is, but I have no complaints about it. My mother-in-law stayed there one time. They had an outdoor pool, a lot of activities, transportation that would take them somewhere in the vicinity, a laundry facility, an exercise room, a dining room, and three meals a day.

We're in Atria Collier Park now. It's large, and the amenities are good. They serve three meals a day and have a lot of activities, exercises, and a system where they drive you to your doctors' appointments or take you shopping or to the casinos. We have a good staff, but the food is not good and needs work.

Atria Collier Park was more expensive and much larger than other places. It had lots of amenities and a large, full-sized swimming pool. It was immaculate, posh, and sophisticated, but it was a really big community. They had waiters in tuxes doing restaurant-style meals.

Atria Collier Park was very well-kept and seemed to have great staff. I was very impressed. The dining area was lovely. They have people come in to take them out to do their shopping. As far as activities, they have worship service and they have an activity director that does all different kinds of crafts and games. It was a little older, but there was nothing wrong with it. The people seemed to be wonderful, very caring, very on top of what they were doing, and very easy to work with.

Atria Collier Park is a very nice facility, but they don’t work with Medicaid. Nevertheless, it’s a really nice place. It’s very lovely. They have beautiful landscaping. Their staff is all friendly. The rooms are very nice. The amenities are great. They have a really nice swimming pool and very nice common areas like a game room.

I am very pleased with Atria Collier Park. I have seen one activity. They had a Christmas party about a week ago. My mom has a one-bedroom apartment with a living room, a kitchen, a bedroom, and a bathroom.

Atria Collier Park was very nice. The staff and rooms were great. The apartments and the dining room were awesome. The people were very friendly. This facility was my favorite. I loved the grounds. The gardens were exceptionally beautiful. They also had a nice pool. The reason why I’m so interested in Atria Collier Park is because I’m struggling to walk, and my first rehab was done with pool therapy. At Atria, you can actually practice walking in the pool. The place bordered on luxurious. It was very nice.

My father lives in Atria Collier Park, and he loves it. The staff is great. Everybody there is friendly. There are two big courtyards and a swimming pool, and they take them anywhere they want to go. There are two big dining rooms, they have a big room that they call Town Square, and there is a library and a pool table. They have a hairdresser, and they have people that come in and play music for them. They have bingo, movie nights, and a workout center.

I visited Atria Collier Park twice for my mother-in-law. It was a nice facility, but it was just a very large facility. My mother-in-law would not have cared for something that large. I dealt with the manager closely, but I did meet part of the other staff; they were quite pleasant and very nice. Everyone was actively working. It seemed to be well organized. Atria had a wider selection of room styles. They had studio apartments, and they had a separate bedroom apartment. You have more choices there, and the price differentiates.

Everybody that I met at Collier Park was very nice. The rooms were nice and clean. You could choose where you wanted to sit in the dining room. I know a lot of people that live there, and it seemed safe and secure.

We visited the Atria. It was a very nice place, but it's just not for my mom. They didn't have memory care, so we wouldn't be able to use them. They're just assisted living. The staff was very nice. They were very helpful and very willing to show. The rooms were very nice. They're very clean and very homey. The residents are very happy. They have lots of activities there.

Atria Collier Park gives a very friendly and outgoing environment. Personally I think the facility was just too big. Their apartments were nice but too big for my aunt who has early stages of dementia. They have a very friendly staff and they are just there to answer any questions you might have.

My mother lived in this facility for several years. It was nice when she first moved in but in the last three years the quality has really dropped. The rates have gone up considerably while the quality of care, food, and services have gone down. In our family's opinion, Atria Collier Park was not providing her acceptable services.

When we visited Atria Collier Park assisted living facility in search of a place for my brother's friend, we found it to be friendly, yet professionally run. The staff is well-versed at taking care of a variety of types of people, including those ambulation and memory issues. The grounds were spacious and well tended. The indoor areas were all clean and bright. There is plenty of sunlight so that they do not need to use lighting when it is sunny outside. All of the areas were pleasant to be in and we could see that the residents thought so, too. The private rooms featured plenty of space in nicely decorated surroundings. All had a great deal of natural light and fresh air with very comfortable furniture. The dining room was quite nice, with plenty of space. The food we saw looked and smelled delicious. The menus all had healthy food options for all kinds of diets. Healthy snacks are offered all day and into the evening, as well as whenever residents request them. The activities ranged from board games, to discussions, private reading and watching film and TV. The activities they plan regularly include everything from visiting local restaurant favorites, the public library and movies - to day trips to nearby regions. They also have planned exercise classes - but also offer residents to work out any time they wish. We liked that they encourage exercise. We really enjoyed our visit and would recommend that anyone looking for a place for their loved one check it out.
