My mother was at Cove at Heatherwilde (Formerly Heatherwilde Park Apartments). It was a nice place. There were four apartments to each unit. Everybody was friendly. They get together for breakfast once a month. Anybody who's interested in gardening can plant their own vegetables or flowers in their garden. They have a pool. Everything's nicely kept, very nice, and neat. The people in the office were always friendly. There were lots of flowers. The grounds were nicely kept and the bushes were trimmed.

Awesome management would recommend this place to all Seniors. The management goes out of its way to help, protect and provide the best living situation for Seniors. The facility is very neat and clean at all times, and the staff is friendly and accommodating to all its residents. Could not ask for a safer place to live.

My mom waited a year to get into subsidized housing here. The place was a mess. Had not been painted, had not been cleaned, tub didn’t drain, torn screens, egress windows in bedroom stuck shut, black mold in vents, roaches everywhere. Management literally told my mother and me the reason her apartment didn’t look like the models they showed us was because she was being HUD subsidized! In other words, our most vulnerable citizens — seniors and disabled on fixed incomes, can be treated poorly and unfairly and moved into substandard — AND UNSAFE - units . It’s now been 1.5 months... after having to pack everything up again and move to my place for a week while they tried to address issues — still tub is not working, torn screens, and she came home to broken glass on the floor that her blind emotional support dog stepped on and cut his paw. Management is SO poor here. UNSAFE.

Heatherwilde is a good place for retired people. I would recommend the place, and what I like best is the people that lived here because we care about each other and that is good. Right now, the manager and the assistant are very good. There are quite a few activities like bingo, exercise three days a week, card games, dominos, brunch once a month, potluck another day, and birthday celebrations. It’s a good place to live. You can get around and take care of yourself.

My parents are in the independent living at Heather Wilde. They're happy there. It's very close to my house. There are a lot of activities there. They have bingo, poker night, exercise like yoga night, painting class, and crafts lessons. I would surely recommend this place. They like the staff but they don't care for the manager. They can improve the management.

Heatherwilde Park is independent living. I love it and they're really nice. You can have your yard or garden if you wanted to plant flowers. The apartment is really nice and they have a washer and dryer. The neighbors are nice and friendly.
