My mom is in The Medical Resort At Pearland. I can never get in contact with her and they never let them know that family called, I have to go up there. They had a bug problem a week ago, and they finally took care of that. I asked the nurses about the level of care she would start with and they'd meet the caseworker for her, but when I talked to the administrator she never got the message. I don't care for it at all, so I'm pretty sure she won't be there for long. The food is always cold, they had to always heat the residents' food because it came in cold. It's dry and it's disgusting, so I bring her food. I wouldn't bring my dog there, the place sucks overall. The nurses are rude. They sit there and let the phone ring all night long, they don't answer it. On the first night they transferred her, they were outside for 30 minutes, because the nurse decided she didn't want to open the door on her shift. The paramedic called me and told me they've been there for 30 minutes outside with my mom on a stretcher because they couldn't get in. The lady said she's coming but didn't come and didn't say when she's coming again so they had to call me. The physical facility is nice. It's just that the bugs, the staff, and the food, those things suck. My mom is doing therapy, but other than that, because of COVID, they're just staying in their rooms. It's horrible that her insurance is paying for a place that's not a good place at all.
