The staff of nurses, CNAs, physical therapy, kitchen staff, and office personnel give their best care and respect to the residents who can no longer care for themselves. As a family member I was always welcomed, knowing that my parent was well cared for and loved, giving me a peace of mind.

Get to know the staff that cares for your love one. Make frequently visits to check on your family members! If the staff members cares they may give your loved one a little more attention. You must be very visible!!!

This facility is horrible my dad was there, it took them hours to clean the patients up. My dad is blind they didnt even have the TV on so the residents could at least listen, he would be in the bed they didnt try and get him up. The workers aren't friendly, its a mess there. This place need to be shut down

My loved one has been at Faith Memorial for a few months. The facility would not have been my first choice because it is not the newest but I can tell that they take pride in the care they provide and keep the facility clean. My love one has been very happy thus far with the care she is receiving as this is not the first nursing home she has been in. I am grateful to the Administrator "Freddie" and DON "Destiny" for all that they do to make this place what it is. I understand that it is a lot taking care of people and requires a special kind of person. One of the things I can say is I know they care and its demonstrated in their interactions with not only residents but staff alike. I would definitely recommend faith memorial to anyone desiring placement in the area for their loved one.

We have my brother at Faith Memorial Nursing Home for his rehab. It is very small, and there is barely new equipment. It is not what we expected. It was very old. Some of the staff is nice, but I think they do not have enough staff for all the people. It is almost like one day he is there since noon, it is already 7 when I go there to visit him, and he is still sitting on the chairs. He says, “My tailbone hurts because I have been sitting all day.” I say, “Well, why didn’t you call them or didn’t they see the light?” because the lights were on. I have to go get someone. Some of them are really nice, and they do take care of their patients, but some of them don’t, and I do not see any supervision like walking around making sure that everything is taken care of. The floors are filthy, and it is already like they cleaned it, but it is still dirty.

My dad is in Faith Memorial. It was more convenient at that time. The staff has been pretty good in taking care of him, and they're accommodating. I ate with them last Christmas and the food was good. Dad has a shared room, it has a curtain between two twin beds. They share a bathroom but they have their own closet, and he seemed to be happy with it. They have movie nights, monthly birthday celebrations, and they have church services.

I had my dad there...the staff didn't care about my dad..he was sleeping all the time and I notice most of the people in the dementia ward were like this...no activity just put them in front of a small tv in a small lounge.. The courtyard is a joke. Staff and patient would smoke out there ..its smell..my dad lost his dentures and his clothes were missing..we had no choice to put him there..we were applying Medicaid ..so we could moved him close to us .but we were inform to take my dad from the director Freddie because he wanders..where the staff? No one want to do there job..my dad smell..I had to go and bathe him..no one asked to help...we finally moved him but had to come up with 25,000. Medicaid was taking to long and Freddie the director wanted him out.. I would not recommend this place.

None of the assisted living places will take my husband. He had a violent history in his record. I did find a place that took him in, and they got him stabilized. He's OK there. Faith Memorial wasn't very good. It's not what I would have chosen, but I had no choice. I wanted him near enough to where I could drive to see him. The only other place they found was too far. He has to share a very small room. There is only room for twin beds and two drawers. They have a closet and a bathroom, but there is no place for a lounge or anything like that. He's been in rehab for the last month or so. I don't think he's done anything else besides the therapy. As far as I'm concerned, I think they give good care to him. Except the place smells bad and is not kept up to my satisfaction anyway.

Staff starts out friendly until the family leaves. After initial admittance the bathrooms are not maintained. The toilet broke with feces in it and we had to nag for over a day to get them to clean it out- not that they fixed it... I requested a transfer from this dump where people are screaming for help in the room down the hall the entire night, only to be told the request was denied. Long story short- they lied to us and never even put in the request. I spent two days working with the insurance company to work around the nursing home office, and he nursing home told the insurance company it was my fault for not filling out the paperwork (which was never mentioned to my family). The nurses are overworked and don't want to be bothered. It still took three days after to make the transfer happen- and that was with me keeping a steady presence and nagging to management. This place is a nightmare and I wouldn't send a dog there, much less a loved one.

I stayed at Faith Memorial before. I was there for three months and it was okay. The staff was pretty good. But, it was quite crowded.

The facility seemed very well maintained and the staff seemed caring and attentive to the needs of the residents. In my interactions with the elderly, most seemed as content as one can possible be in such a situation. They enjoyed each others company, and always seemed delighted when my peers and I would walk in to entertain them for a while.
