I am a friend or relative of a current/past resident

This place is HORRIBLE! Do not place your loved one in this facility. The staff is un-caring & negligent. The rooms are cramped, dark & dirty. The residents appear ungroomed & unbathed. My family member has been left in their bed soiled for hours before someone will attend to them on several occasions when I have visited. They do not care about your family member. The food prepared for the residents is horrible. The moment you walk in the door, you can feel the sadness of the residents. Often the staff is nowhere to be found when needed. They are NOT friendly nor are they professional. When calling the facility, you are lucky to not be on hold for long periods of time get questions answered or to speak to someone in charge. Beware of this place. It does not deserve to remain open. A place like this & its staff has no business caring for our elderly. This place is the worst nursing home!

I am a friend or relative of a current/past resident

During this Pandemic my MOM LOST HER VISION IN HER RIGHT EYE BECAUSE OF NEGLECT OF THE DOCTORS AND NURSES HIRED AND PAID TO TAKE CARE OF HER! They have no compassion nor empathy for the helpless people they are entrusted to provide care for! IF YOU LOVE YOUR RELATIVES DO NOT TAKE THEM TO MESQUITE TREE!

I am a friend or relative of a current/past resident

My grandmother was a resident at Mesquite Tree until she went to her final resting place. Rest in Peace Mimi. I cannot say enough wonderful things about Mesquite Tree. When I brought my Mimi to this facility, she was literally in very bad shape. She had come from a facility that was neglecting her and verbally abusing my grandmother. When we walked in she was given so much love, attention and her medical needs were taken care of right away. The CNA's at Mesquite Tree were mind blowing over the top amazing. They made her feel right at home and loved her like she was there own. The nurses went above and beyond to literally nurse her back to health. This facility saved my grandmother's life more in more ways than one. Mesquite Tree was the fifth and final facility she was in, And i can tell you from experience that i could had put the other 4 places all together and Mesquite Tree would had run circles around all those put together. Never judge a book by it's cover because my grandmother was in a few places that were so beautiful on the outside and had all the perks and whistles but there staff and there management were truly the most non caring and neglectful people on the inside. Mesquite Tree may not be the most beautiful place on the outside but the love and the care they give on the inside is by far the most amazing thing and i am so grateful and thankful that my mimi was able to live the last chapter of her life being cared for by the most genuine staff that gave her so much love and care on a daily basis. It still warms my heart.

I am a friend or relative of a current/past resident

Dad was at Mesquite Tree for a couple of months. He hated it because he felt like he had been dumped there and let's face it....it's not an attractive place. He received such good care and the staff kept me informed of everything. I appreciate that he was treated with dignity at all times. Some patients were dumped by their families but I can honestly say that I witnessed only patience and kindness.

The facility is much improved and a lot better than some of the newer facilities in the area. Clean doesn't have any smells and my mother is happy here. They have lots of activities and the aides take care of my mother.

I visited this facility

Do not let your family or relatives be sent here. The nursing staff is rude and careless, and didn't even know who my grandmother was although she had only been admitted 5 hours before I arrived. She wasn't administered her medicine and the living space was a mess. I even had to take her some blankets. Horrible place

I am a friend or relative of resident

Our family has been concerned and disappointed the past few months about poor housekeeping and personal care of our relative. It appears that more staff has been hired and things seem much improved recently. Our relative is happy here.
