My father is at The Hampton at Meadows Place. I moved him to a different apartment because I didn't want him to be in the same room where he was with mom when she passed away. It's a good, solid place, and they do the best they can because it's a difficult industry. He's a little cantankerous, but for the most part, he's happy there. The cafeteria is nice and clean. The help there is caring. They really got along great with my mom because she was kind of a card, so they did a good job. I feel like the help did a sufficiently adequate job to take care of her once she deteriorated to the position that she did, right before passing about three weeks bedridden. I thought that the staff did a good job. My father is in assisted living and then we have one upcharge for him for the medication and the blood and heart rate monitoring that he does. We pay an extra $500 a month for that besides his room and board, and it's OK. It's hard to give a perfect score to anyone because there are always things that could be better, but I would have to rate them with a solid performance. When you're in one of those facilities, the food is a little bland. It's served and presented well and it is what it is. We're dealing with people that are quite old, and so their taste buds aren't the same. The staff does the best they can. They do a good job. People should check The Hampton out. I think it's good. They have a director. They try to have events. My father doesn't participate in events so much, but a lot of the women who are there do. The staff is attentive, and they do the best they can. It's a nice building, clean, and spacious. What I'm paying is fair and adequate for what the service level provided.

I'm moving into the Hampton at Meadows Place. I like the bigness of the area, and the square footage, and the setup of the rooms. They were very honest and upfront about everything they had to offer, and financially, and just overall I felt like it would be some place that I would feel like I had a new home. The staff members were so wonderful and very helpful. They go out of their way to help you with any questions you have, or helping and assisting you with whatever needs you have in making the move. I was very impressed. One of the other reasons too that I chose Hampton is that my stepson and his family live over there in that area. I was looking for something specific in size, and being able to fit my furnishings in there to make it feel like a real home, not just another room or a place. It had a lot of the little conveniences that some of the other places may not have had. I don't do elevators. I was very specific needing a first floor unit, and also being in close proximity to their dining area and their reception area, and possibly activities. I was very impressed. I had a couple of friends also with me, and they were impressed also. They were wonderful. One of the girls when she came to visit me brought me some cookies that were kinda neat.

The Hampton was a very nice and very spacious community with a lot of amenities. I really enjoyed it. It was a little bit above my budget, but of all the places I visited, I really enjoyed this one the most. The staff members were very nice and very open. You can have private or shared rooms. They have an ice cream social, a game room, a lounge, a patio where they plant things, and a pool.

My father-in-law has been living at The Hampton at Meadows Place for a year and a half. The residents play games and read books. They have church and someone playing piano. They made sure my father-in-law ate, took his medications, and made him more comfortable. The rooms could use a little bit of an update, but the facility was nice, like you could look outside the window and there's a pond which you could walk around. They also had little outdoor patios at the end of each hall which were really big and you could just hang out. My husband said the food was kind of bland, but it wasn't too bad. They always had a huge list of stuff going on during the week. They had games, bingo, and ice cream socials.

My father moved into The Hampton at Meadows Place, and I like it. The rooms are more spacious than the others I've seen, and the hallways are spacious with a lot of common spaces in them. The staff seemed really nice, they have a lot of activities, but they need more in the afternoon. He's in assisted living, but he can move into memory care when needed. However, we needed to get him a sitter for him for the first couple of weeks to get him acclimated, and they were not upfront about it. Overall, things are getting along pretty well, and he's getting into the routine of things.

My mom recently moved in and loves it. We like the fact that there is 24 hour nursing. Everywhere we visited no one had that. My mom is somewhat independent but things do happen and im glad there is always a nurse in house. The staff are very friendly and caring. I appreciate the communication so far especially with the head nurse, shes a doll. I would definitely rate this a 5 star facility and recommend it to others. Great job to the Hamptons team, we are definitely impressed.

I would choose The Hampton because it was a block away from my house. The staff had very familiar relationships with the patients and knew them by their first names. It had a very homey atmosphere. The director was very nice. The room looked very good, was clean, and it didn't smell like urine or old. It smelled fresh. They had a list of activities.

Hampton was a really nice place. It had everything that you would be looking for in terms of amenities like swimming pool to outside lounge areas. It had a lot of different things that some of the other places didn't have. The staff was really good and nice. The rooms were nice and very well decorated. It would be a place that you would certainly want your loved ones to be. They had physical or occupational therapy, light exercises that included light weights and light aerobics for those who could do it, and even for people who could not do it, they would have them sat in chairs and just raise the weight and still follow along with the instructors.

I visitedThe Hampton Meadows Place. The staff was good. The rooms were nice. It was a beautiful place. The staff was fine. They were really good, and I had no problem with the staff. The rooms were clean and nice. The people were very nice, although I didn't care for the residents who weren't nice at all. I was sure the security was good. I knew they had a schedule of activities calendar. They had games and bingo. The biggest thing was when we had a meal. They put me with the residents, and they were very negative. It was better off if I had a meal with the staff or very select people.

My parents are at The Hampton at Meadows Place. It has three floors. My father is on the second floor, which is the memory care. The memory care unit is locked in. My dad is sharing a room, and everything is fine. My mother is on the first floor. She is in the assisted living. Her room is very nice, and it is large enough. It has a tremendous view of the garden. She seems to be happy at this place. She has been there about a week and a half so far. The food is good. The staff is patient and caring. When I walk in, they recognize me, and they tell me that Dad is doing well.

I love the lay out of The Hampton. It was in a big giant circle. The residents all have their doors open, and they were out talking to each other. Everybody there seems very happy. They had outdoor steak and a pool. It was a very nice place. Everybody seemed to be comfortable and very happy. It was a lot smaller than the other places. The staff seemed very happy to be there. The lady that was showing us around said hi to everybody. Everybody was talking to her and she knew them by name. It has a really very homey feeling. The rooms were very nice. A lot of them looked outside on the green space. They had a variety of room sizes as well. The building itself was really cool. They also have field trips and outings.

We chose The Hampton at Meadows Place because it includes Alzheimer's care and they have different activities. I like it that it is close and it moves up to complete care. I would recommend it to others.
