The facility is old but clean. Could use a paint job but that doesn't bother me. The staff is really attentive and mostly great. They have a really niced wing for veterans. Room doors can be left open for socializing with other patients. Food is well above par. Even soft food is not NOT thrown in a grinder and divided between cups and bowls. It is separate and tastes good. This is a locked facility which I think is a good thing. Parking while visiting is easy.

Have a friend in the locked unit. The nurses are nice but the building is in bad shape. The bathrooms are not kept up. paint and the wall plaster is falling off. Toilet was broke and the seat was falling off. The smell is unbearable. The place needs to be updated.

We have a friend in this facility and it appears to be getting worst every time we visit. The stench in the hallways and in the room is terrible. We tried to visit on Jan 2,2016 and the smell in the room and hallway was overwelmingly terrible. I spoke to an aid about it and they said it wasnt their job. Appeared that maybe she didnt speak or understand English very well.

The one that was closer to me that met our needs was North Park. It looks fine to me. I go by and visit my sister regularly, and she seems to be taken care of OK. Her room is very simple; it's got a bed and a little end table type thing. It has a wardrobe for clothes, and she can have her meals either in the room or go to the dining room and eat. She has a TV, and it is comfortable. The staff seems to be taking care of her really well. She goes to physical therapy everyday. She is on medications, and they bring her medications every day. They assist her with anything that she needs. They have group activities and things like bingo, socials, popcorn and movies, puzzles, and art classes. I have been there during the mealtime, and it seems like the meals are of very adequate portion sizes with a variety of choices of menus every day for lunch and dinner.
