My mom went to Irving Nursing and Rehab and they are horrible. They let her lay on her feces. They were mean to her and yelled at her. She was in a private room, but they even didn’t have a TV until I begged them to bring her one in there. The food is horrible. The facility itself did not look very clean to me. They probably offer few activities, but my mother never participated in those things.

I was treated with respect. I saw the nurses being very gentle with my grandmother; they did not fuss about visiting hours or anything else. Patients had enough space and privacy as needed. I personally have seen them give my grandmother food in a timely manner. I did not hear about anything negative from my grandmother even with the language barrier that is in the way. I gave it 4 stars out of 5 because it is a small nursing home but it was available at that time and we got lucky because it was an emergency situation. She did pass a year later but her last few days were with our family and they get respect for treating her properly during that time.
