My husband is in Silverado Hermann Park. It's excellent. The staff is very caring, very efficient, and knowledgeable. I can't say enough; they're just wonderful. The whole place is very well run. The food is great. It's great all around. His room is fine. I'm able to put pictures up, and they have a TV, but I bought a larger one because he is visually impaired. They have a lovely little dog for the community, and the residents just love him. He's in the second level of their care, so he doesn't have as much, but they have a lovely dining room and a common room. Right now, their activities are somewhat limited. They have performers come in, and there are a lot of different things that they do for them. I don't get to come every day, but I get to see him enough to know that there's plenty to do. Everybody I've met is just as wonderful as they can be with me. They're very kind and very supportive, and they keep me informed. I have no problems at all with them. He's been there for almost a month now, and it's been great.

My sister-in-law has been in Silverado Hermann Park Memory Care for a year now. It's a nice place, and we have been pleased with it. We do Facetime once a week. My sister-in-law is doing fine there. The staff is fine. She is in a private room, and they had to furnish everything because of Covid. They have a video room, and they have exercises. I don't know about a beauty salon, but I know they do her nails. They have a dining hall. She is on a special diet, so everything is fine because she hasn't complained about it. I haven't been there since Covid, but the last time I saw it, it was a very nice building. She is just going to start doing activities, so I don't know about them yet. They have been doing activities, but she hasn't been able to participate because she had a stroke. The pricing is pretty high, but it's the best we can do. She can afford it because she has good insurance. Also, she worked with the City, so she has a good retirement.
